I visited Yogakshema in Nov 2018 and i have nothing but immense appreciation for this place. Everyone from doctor to therapist to cleaning lady make sure that you get best experience at Yogakshema.
Treatments: We were treated by Dr. Ashwini who is the head of Panchkarma dept. He is immensely knowledgeable and modest personality. His sense of humour is such that your ailments are half cured just by visiting him.
The prescribed treatments were authentic and were given as per the body type or ailments.
Other than him Dr. Reshma, intern Dr. Medha, Emergency Dr. Sanath and Dr. Shankar and sisters Precilla and Ankita checked on us various times throughout the day and ensured that we are being treated correctly , addressed our issues (food, treatment timings, medicine etc.) as soon as reported and ever ready to answer any questions we had.
I was down with cold and fever for first couple of days and i was treated with utmost care and being provided kettle, extra blankets, heater, medicine etc. We were encouraged to call Dr. or sister on duty in case of any issues regardless of the the timings (early morning or late nite ).
During discharge Dr. Ashwini provided a lot of insights to keep our body healthy by food n lifestyle changes so less medications are required.
Therapist: The highlight of my stay however was my therapist Manju who was the best therapist i had at any panchkarma centre till date. She was compassionate, patient, extremely detail oriented and very understanding. She speaks 5 languages so it was very easy to communicate with her.I told her about my problem areas or my preferences the very first day and after that i never had the need to repeat it. She made sure that extra attention is given to problem areas. If co-therapist wouldn’t pay attention to those areas she would take extra step to treat those areas herself ensuring that am every bit comfortable and have excellent experience. They both maintained silence during treatments which made the treatments more enjoyable and relaxing.
Food: Food however spicy was delicious and prepared fresh with seasonable vegetables in south indian way.You can also get less or non spicy version of recommended food. I wish they tone down the spice levels to accommodate patients from all places, body types and spice levels so that some of us wouldn’t have to survive on bland diet all the time.
Tip: If your recommended food is not readily available on the food counter, ask kitchen staff, they are helpful most of time. If your food requirements are not addressed bring it to either doctor or sister’s attention and they do take care of it.
Accommodation: The Yogakshema building has three floors and has almost 20-25 rooms. Rooms are well maintained and cleaned everyday. Bedsheets and towels are changed daily.Treatment rooms are modestly clean with attached washroom. Morning Yoga, evening pranayama and trataka sessions are included in the package. It also has its own beauty parlour.
Dr. Ashwini also provide me access to SDM Ayurvedic college library which allowed me to delve deeper into the principles of Ayurveda.
Overall my stay was very relaxing and pleasant and am already planning to come back next year with more family members.

Nice treatment is given throughout the course. A excellent home away from the home.no five star hotel will match this care.. Cleanliness in room and treatment room is well maintained. Staff is so friendly.

After coming to know about ‘Yogakshema Ayurveda Centre’, taking an opportunity I was there for four days, to undergo holistic treatment.
The treatment by the team of Ayurvedic Doctors was simply superb, beyond words to describe. The amenities, the hospitality, rooms, food and service was excellent and such facilities for a small sum, worth more than five star hotel service is highly commendable, and worth spending, I look forward to future visit and also recommend others.
My heartfelt special thanks to Mr. Murugesh who mad my stay memorable.

This is definitely a place to be visited, it's a must on my next visit list.
Professional staff, clean and immaculate rooms, incredible treatments and very experienced therapists.
Our group of 8 ladies was welcomed with such warmth we were made feel so special, i regret that we could only stay for one night but in our next trip i will certainly stay longer.
Thank you for the wonderful staff and for that incredible experience!

We loved our stay at the Yogakshema Ayurveda Centre over the weekend. The treatment packages, hospitality, healthy dining seem like a work of intricacy. Thanks for all your attention towards making our holiday filled with soul-finding and relaxation. I'd personally recommend YACIndia to all the people looking for authentic Ayurveda experience.

I stay in bangalore. For my mother allopathic doctor has suggested for knee surgery. One of my friend suggested to visit SDM Hassan. Will you suggest me to come over to SDM, Hassan. How is it different from SDM, Bangalore in terms of experienced doctors and treatment.

Hi there,
Who could tell me if this place Yogakshema is specified in Ayurveda with real Ayurvedic treatments, doctor, special ayurvedic food,....and if they do real Panchakarma, or this place is just doing basic Ayurveda massages and that's it.
because it 's happened that many places called Ayurveda places are not good at all and not specialized because Ayurveda is a real Medicine.

Best wishes from Yogakshema, feel lucky to part of Yogakshema...
This place is meant for real Ayurveda treatments, where we follow basic s of Ayurveda in treatments. Like, Panchakarma- Vamana, Virechana, Vasthikarma, Nasya, Rakthamokshana in order to remove toxin vitiated doshas from the body. Which is key for all treatments in majority of ailments.
