Lovely place, nice walks by the river, loads of interesting info about the business, shop selling good priced local goods and a cafe/lunch restaurant...

...which sold the most amazing bacon and brie baguettes. The type of place where everyone is looking at what others have ordered and being envious. Well worth a visit.

Ladies who do lunch

We have just come back from Jordans following a fabulous afternoon tea. The new General manager was definitely making sure we enjoyed ourselves there was 6 ladies. He even took our picture. We came on Saturday and stayed 2+hours.. then popped into the shop and brought lots of goodies.

Will definitely be back this was our 3rd visit

Disappointment amongst chaos

Went for lunch but it was a very limited menu so had scones and tea. When I went to order the milk was thrown @ me when I asked for more than half a pot. The scone was dry, I cannot eat butter but when asked, no non dairy was available.
We sat waiting for each other for abt an hour as we had to ‘split up to save the table’ .
It was chaos, we couldn’t find menus and when we did we were no further forward, when we arrived.
When collecting my scone and tea a young female decided to take down a cobweb with a brush so it could have fallen in my food; there weee many cobwebs being displaced, why not do before or post closure?
The noise in the room was disconcerting as we talked and my friend was unable to process due to the incompatibility of the noise and their hearing aids. It was disappointing there was no real hot food available when we visited so we had no choice but to choose a scone. It used to be so much better.

We love this place. Great for breakfast. Sausages definitely recommended. Nice little shop. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Really good location

amazing sunday dinner

it is really nice food and its got a play area outside for children a little bit expensive but if you want great food in a countryside setting and its got a small river out the front beautiful part of bedfordshire

A special place

We love everything about Jordans Mill. The staff are lovely, the walk around the gardens are fascinating. The tomato plants we bought from the shop have produced an incredible crop of unusual tomatoes. My fiance brought me to Jordans Mill on the day he proposed so it is always going to be a very special place for us.

my son and I enjoyed our visit this morning.
The games trail was fantastic! My son has autism and played them as they are very accessible for additional needs (this isn't always the case at other venues.) It was great seeing him enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the property.

Thank you to the shop staff who gave us a lovely friendly welcome. You are all doing a fantastic job.

Lovely setting, shame about the portions.

Beautiful location which I was passing so popped in to get some lunch. Ordered a jacket potato which Tuna sweetcorn and cheese. With a drink was just under £10.

Sat out on lovely terrace and then the buzzer went to collect my food. Probably a couple of teaspoons of tuna and sweetcorn and a portion of cheese that a mouse would turn his nose up at.

Such a shame as beautiful setting and all looked very clean.

Amazing Jordans

We booked a private function room for a 60th birthday party. Abigail was the person if contact and she is truly amazing. The afternoon buffet tea was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The food was absolutely lovely and finished off with a toast of procecco . Would highly recommend for lunch or a function.

Not poor, not average. Visited on Bank Holiday Monday, cafe very busy, many children taking part in the Easter Egg Hunt, but the mill only opens on Friday and Saturdays, missed a trick there. Other than the gardens, which are small and the shop, didn't need anything, it was just ok.
