Today, we spent about 3 hours in this delightful garden. Very clean toilets and polite and helpful staff enhanced our visit.
The gardens are not big, but the variety of plants, the well maintained borders and the interesting statues made for a very interesting visit.
The Terrace Cafe was clean and had a wide range of refreshments to suit all tastes.

The house looks like it’s been on this spot for centuries, it’s full of character. The gardens are carved into the contours of the grounds and feel totally natural. The groundsmen keep the beds in immaculate order. I didn’t see one weed in the large kitchen garden.
Once you’ve wondered round all the paths, look out for the black swans and go sit and admire the lake view from the terrace, with one of their tasty homemade cakes.
A delightful oasis of tranquillity.

The flowers are lovely and the glades delightful but the walks are not extensive and there is not a great deal of variety, although I admit that the special events days are perhaps spectacular. Unless you are a great eater of salads, I think the restaurant is expensive (but picnic tables are provided outside the paying area).

Lovely lovely garden to have a wonder round. Takes about 3 hours maybe 4 if you want to stop and actually take in and admire the beautiful scenery surrounding the grounds of Pashley Manor. Blue bell woods is a lovely little walk no longer than 15 mins max. Lots of time, dedication, preparation and thought put
Into the planting, the position of the sculptures (most of which are for sale and considering what they are made of are fairly cheap I would say so myself), the colour themes for each different garden which just carries on gently flowing and softening into the natural landscapes around the gardens. Lovely, polite, well mannered, patient staff members there. I drove straight in and got pointed down the field to be greeting by a very smiley talkative young chap and he guided me right into a space and parked me really well and it was really easy to understand what he was asking of me and was just a lovely pleasant person to be greeted by before we even got into the gardens. Ticket tent was well thought out a man doing the tickets and paying by cash and a lady doing tickets and paying by card which helped to keep the queue of people down considerably and we all trickled into the gardens nicely without being rushed or trying to squeeze through. Lovely to see a couple of the many gardens there out in the gardens trying to do their jobs as best as they can around the general public without being in the way too much or blocking up any necessary paths. Paths round the garden were a thin layer of pea shingle which made it very easy to walk on and lots of people in wheelchairs, Zimmer frames, crutches, walking sticks, mobility scooter and they all made it round without a single problem so well done to all of the gardeners who all work together we a team to make the gardens as accessible to the general public of all ability’s, needs and anything else anyone required… lovely to get to chat to one person from the gardening team at Pashley Manor and he was very enthusiastic, passionate in the way he spoke to fondly of the gardens and how he loves working outside and being at one with nature and just nice to see that not all of the work gets done by machinery anymore alot of the edging and weeding is done by hand and the planting and pruning. The whole team at Pashley Manor Gardens should be super super proud of yourself’s as a whole team (cafe, shop, gardeners, diy, owners, office staff, and anybody else I may have missed off) you’ve done a brilliant job yet again another brillaint year with an amazing show of tulips. The gardens looking more and more wonderful each year we come… thank you again one and all at pashley manor and I’m sure we will see you again soon.

These are truly wonderful gardens to visit. We went recently for the tulip festival which was beyond beautiful. The lake has a black swan and the grounds are packed with stunning sculptures and work of art. Bridges span the lake and right now, wisteria drips over the back of the house. Beware though, queues are awful for food or tea and coffee.. The staff are lovely, but the organisation is poor. Luckily we got there early.

We visited whilst on holiday in the area. These gardens are amazing! Absolutely captivating in September when we visited. All the rave reviews here are spot on. Contrary to some, we found the cafe service to be very good, maybe we came on a quieter day? Maybe as a 'production process' it could be improved but we enjoyed what we had and the ladies running the cafe were very pleasant indeed. Anyhow, nothing would detract from the beauty and tranquility of this place. Fantastic place to spend an hour or three, not small but not too vast to walk around at a leisurely pace. Fabulous and very highly recommended. We would definitely return when in the area.

Thought the gardens were wonderful, but when we visited yesterday, 8th September it was a very hot day and those who wanted to eat something were having to join a very long queue. No one was allowed to sit at a table until they had ordered their food. Notices felt a bit bossy. Several of those queuing were elderly. Would it not be better to employ more staff to allow people to find a table, sit down and relax and have someone come and take their order ? I overheard other people saying, we can’t do this - let’s go to the coop and get some sandwiches... we too were unwillingly to stand and wait and left to have an excellent lunch with no standing around at a local pub restaurant.

We visited this stunning, beautiful garden late August and have been completely captivated by it in every way. We voted this as the best garden we have ever visited and have now placed it at the very top of our places to visit.
Lovely cafe, offering hot lunches, cakes and beverages and the staff made us feel very welcome.
Nice clean toilets as well.
Thank you for allowing visitors and sharing such a lovely garden with us all.

First time visit. Enjoyed the gardens and grounds. The staff who were working in the garden were approachable and extremely knowledgeable. I was going to drop one point in the rating owing to the restaurant. More tables are required as the queue was long and the tables were in short supply also some of the popular items on the menu were sold out. However the excellent gardens made up for this so 5 stars still awarded.

My first visit to Pashley Manor, with a small group of gardeners from my village. We were entranced. The planting and care of the garden is superb. We could see how much work was being done to maintain this beautiful garden. I especially loved the walled gardens. i'll return for the Spring bulbs.

Bonsoir, j'aurais voulu savoir si une Visite à la mi avril serait intéressante..Quelles plantes seraient visibles ?
Depending on the weather we may still have daffodils, camellias, hellebores and magnolia and possibly a few tulips in mid-April, but, we plant the later flowering varieties of tulips so our 35,000 tulips are usually out towards the end of April to early may (our Tulip Festival will be on from 22nd April every day to 6th May 2020)
Are dogs allowed on leads
Many thanks for your enquiry - I am afraid dogs, except trained assistance dogs, are not allowed in the gardens here (we have a swan and ducks and moorhens etc.)

It isn't huge, but worth allowing 2-3 hours, and recommend you have lunch as it's real home-made food - I had quiche which was the best I've ever had. Parking is in a field fairly close by unlike some, but on a slight slope if I remember! regards Charmian
Do you have tulips for sale?
Bloms Bulbs are here during the Tulip Festival (21st April every day to 6th May) with a marquee of cut tulips and their bulb order forms - they take bulb orders (for delivery and payment in the autumn) - so you can use the garden and marquee display as a sort of living bulb catalogue if you would like to!

can I take a dog?
Hi Kealey thanks for getting in touch. Sorry, no dogs are allowed in the gardens - they can be walked on a lead in the car park field though. With a day ticket to the garden you can come in and out as many times as you like and there is a picnic area in the car park field too so this might be a good option on cooler days, though we obviously don't recommend it on hot days or during our Tulip Festival when the car park field gets a lot busier. Hope this helps.
