Has lots of different performances here and available for hire. Staff friendly. Quite a small stage compare to other theatres. Very nice canteen area. Overall recommend booking a show here. Good atmosphere!

Venue as good as it always is, staff friendly & helpful. Disappointed in the band, a lot of mistakes whilst playing, sultans of swing totally messed up,bass player & saxophone player the best out of the band.

Saw Dire Streets here last Friday, our first time visiting this venue. The facilities were all excellent and seating comfortable. Bar prices reasonable which made for an enjoyable night out. Dire Streets were a fantastic band and well worth seeing if, like me, you grew up with the original.

Excellent facilities and we were very well looked after. The tribute band were brilliant - will certainly be looking out for any return visits of theirs.

This was the latest of our frequent visits to The Braintree Arts Theatre and we had an amazing evening. As usual the tribute band was excellent. We have seen many tribute acts here and they have always been excellent. Also the comedians are current, my personal favourite was Jenny Eclair. The theatre is well designed, there is a bar open before, during, and at the interval of the performance. If you want a good entertaining evening you cannot go wrong. It is an amazing local facility.

I have been many times to this venue and enjoyed the shows. Not many people know that there is a fully functioning Infra-red system for people with hearing loss, with or without hearing aids. It is not even mentioned in their brochure under 'Accessibility'. Although this is not required for listening to music, any performance that is mainly speech is much clearer.
I always phone the day before attending a performance to say I am coming and please will they make sure an infra-red set is fully charged for my use. This is important because if you were to be handed a set that was not charged up it would not work.

Have been to this venue for many shows, comedy and otherwise and have always found the acts to be of a very high standard. The location is ideal and there is convenient on site parking. Last night we saw 100% Simon Brodkin and he was hilarious. It's always worth checking out which acts are performing there as it's a great night out.

A lively evening that was brilliant. The singer and musicians were first class. Excellent venue. Easy to find and good parking.

Hello, yes we have a fully licensed bar which opens 45mins before each performance and during the interval.
We have a range of lagers, local ales, wines, prosecco, soft drinks, hot drinks, crisps, nuts and sweets.
Make use of our pre order interval drinks service to save having to que.
