From the outside this micro pub looks small until you walk in . There are plenty of tables to sit at or you can stand . The bar area is at the far end and sometimes can get crowed . The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the prices for the local ales are in keeping for the area . Great place to meet before you go into town.

I’ve been visiting for a couple of years now and in that time I’ve never had a pint which isn’t very tasty or in perfect condition. In addition to the beer everyone receives a warm welcome from everyone else! Good conversation is readily available to accompany your pint also. So, if you enjoy good ale, good conversation and a warm welcome look no further!

Loved this place, ales are very good quality, as is the gin, Perfectly served with a good quality tonic. Cards, dominos and excellent service complete the package slightly off the main drag but more than a worthwhile visit x

An excellent little bar/pub with a great feel. Barman was very friendly and beer was excellent. Loved the maps on the wall (Sadly both of us love looking at maps!!). Shame its not closer to our home (150 miles!). Definitely recommend, try it for yourself.

Have stopped in here a few times now on various visits to Margate. Each time has been met with an exceptionally warm welcome and a superb choice of ales and ciders. Definitely well worth a visit.

Really enjoyable evening, trying a few beers and the odd good gin. Felt nice a cosy while the cold weather did its things outside. Friendly staff. Definitely will return.

A constantly changing selection of cask ales. Craft gins and ciders options too. Warm and cosy with regular "unexpected" events - cheese nights, live music, pop-up meals and quizzes.

Staying on business, had read review in Good Beer Guide. Fully justified, nice atmosphere & although mainly locals was made to feel most welcome. Fully deserves good reviews.
