Wow! What a beautiful little theatre! The sound is fantastic, the seating is a brilliant view from wherever you sit! The facilities are immaculate! The booking system is perfect.. seriously impressed.. we will be back!
We saw KinderTransport by The Canterbury Players! Perfect performance.. so glad this is all back on after covid!
This theatre is definitely a hidden gem at an amazing price! Thank you

This is a wonderful little theatre run by volunteers and amazing actors. It holds 174 seats and is usually full for most performances. Thank you for the fun you give

Attended a gig there in early February.
What a fantastic classic venue/theatre. Small and compact, with a capacity of maybe 140-150, the whole experience is an intimate one, everywhere feeling close to the stage.
Pleasant staff, decent comfortable bar. Lovely theatre

We enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment watching the company perform songs from musicals, from Oliver, Les Miserables, Hairspray etc. Very enjoyable and will go again

We booked this on spec prior to our short visit to give us something to do in the evening and we were so glad we did. The show was excellent and very funny and we had a great time, a real highlight of our break.

I went to see " the woman who cooked her husband" last evening. It is the funniest thing I have seen in a long long time.The acting was superb . The content hilarious. The audience collapsed in uncontrollable laughter from the start to the finish. It was hysterical. Worthy of being in the West End. I am always impressed with everything that The Lindley Players produce. Well done. A real tonic. Thank you for an absolutely superb evening.

Another excellent pantomime by the Lindley players, we have been attending for about ten years,and each year the standard is of high excellence, also during the years we have seen many played which are always of a high standard, well done!

A great little theatre with friendly staff and brilliant facilities... all run by volunteers. They're now branching out into tribute shows and 'one-offs' as well as local amateur dramatics so are assured of a fine future. Seats all have a good view of the stage (although the front seats in the middle of the balcony have very little legroom so choose elsewhere if you have dodgy knees!). Last time I went was to see "See how they run" , a wonderful farce that they did with fine form. Parking in Whitstable is, to say the least, at a bit of a premium, but there is a car park situated just behind the theatre which seems to always have spaces [It's one where your number plate is read on entry so you may wish to set up an account before your visit with Canterbury City council parking to save looking for change in the dark and cold when you leave the show.]
