I really want to give it 3.5
Pros. Staff are all lovely. It’s not expensive. High ropes was good (2nd go round would have been nice). Ice cream amazing. Nice setting out in nature. Chips lush. Cinema fun.
Cons. Half the stuff is broken. It’s like they need a team of maintenance people to just go fix everything up again. The maze is a bit pointless. The swamps are just dirty mud pits devoid of life. The burger was horrible and all 3 of us left it.
Better for kids under 8 I’d say.

I think this was our fourth time here now and we just about ticked everything off the map! The place is absolutely massive with a variety of activities and play areas to explore. During term time you have the roam of the place but during holidays there are more activities, shows, craft etc. so either is great fun.
The Warren's and the science area at the beginning could do with a bit of tlc but overall the place is fantastic for kids to run around and there is something to discover around every corner.

Would have been great had most of the indoor stuff not been broken. Needs some serious upkeep. The 4d cinema is terrible. Film boring from what I could tell, the 3d glasses were very dirty and it's completely unnecessary to have blasts of air so strong that several children started crying, at least 5 families left partway through, mine included.
The thing that saved this was the activity trail. That was good fun.
Also the staff in the gift shop and the person attending the ice cream stand just next to the (broken) diggers was lovely.
Not sure how people are spending a full day here but each to their own. Overall it was fine but it it was incredibly run down and in need of some serious maintenance.

What a blooming fantastic day out!
Today myself, my son, my bear friend and her son visited for the first time. The ticket prices were extremely good value and we just had a wonderful time. We arrived at 10 and we're one of the last fo leave and we still had so much to explore ( so we will definitely be back.)
One of our highlights of the day was the Archery. I feel that this should be advertised more and for six pounds you get a full hour which is a bargain. The instructor Dave was lovely and really engaging he has our boys listening intently to his every word. They just had so much fun.
Over all we had an absolutely awesome time and can't wait to come back and explore all conkers has to offer.

Decent value for money, although the extras are a bit pricey (will get to that in a minute). Free parking and when arrived the staff were welcoming and explained what was happening around the park. We pre booked swan pedalos and archery, and were given wrist bands for archery. Swans seemed a bit more relaxed even though we had a set time booked. There was loads to do - more than we could fit into the 5 hours we spent there. We took a picnic but the food menu also looked decent and reasonably priced. We went on the train to the other section of the park and watched a dinosaur magic show that was also included. There’s a bigger play park in this area more suited to older children. We walked back to the main area - not far. Archery was excellent - the instructor Dave was very clear and helped our children (and us!) in learning this new skill. The sensory woods was very tired with most of the boxes broken. The inside nature museum was also tired with broken parts which was a shame as the kids would have learned a lot from the displays. Saying that, the kids loved the indoor treetop walk / slide and the indoor play. The water park was smaller than expected but still part of the ticket price, as was the 4D cinema experience. All in all, great value for money and lots to do.

Lots to admire and applaud here. Our two lively boys (4 and 9) had a great day out. The activity trail and multiple playgrounds help to burn off a lot of energy. The warrens are a great new addition too - although be warned, adults are supposed to accompany children here, and if, like me, you're a 40-something Dad whose body has seen more flexible days, those tunnels are pretty cramped and uncomfortable!
The train ride and woodland walks are a really nice relaxing contrast to the more energetic activities, and there is plenty to do here. We didn't have time for the labyrinth or indoor areas, both of which looked really good. Staff were friendly and helpful, and it's a clean, well-kept site.
Our one and only criticism - the catering outlets are not great: furniture/decor very dated, hot drinks poor quality and the only cakes and biscuits are packaged, long-life offerings. We took a picnic and got the boys an ice-cream so it wasn't a big issue, but somewhere more appealing for adults to sit and have a break would be nice.
Overall, a really good day out, definitely recommended for families.

Lovely day out today with adults and kids ranging from 10-17. We enjoyed the assault course, barefoot walk, the hands on activities in discovery centre, the great playground over at lakeside and more. By far our favourite activity was the bushcraft session we did. Ranger Jack was amazing and kept all on the session completely switched on to everything he was saying. He was so knowledgeable and interactive. We made shelters and he tested how waterproof they were with water lol we then learnt how to make fire pits and collected kindling to make fires and light them we toasted marshmallows on these. The kids rated this activity 10/10. Can’t wait to come back

Fabulous family day out - loads to keep the kids entertained, we only ever use a fraction of the place when we go as it keeps us so busy! Great value for money in comparison to other places too, for example the mini train, soft play and extra activities are included in the entry price which you would be paying £3-5 for at least per activity in other places. The annual membership is particularly great value. Splash park a big win too!

Really good family day out, we spent almost 5 hours here. There’s lots of to do including high and low ropes, a maze, climbing frames, pedalos and a splash park. The 4D cinema is OK, not the best but younger kids may enjoy it, mine are 10 and 8 and didn’t think much of it but we have been to some fantastic ones previously, this one is a bit low quality. Everything else is great though!

Upcoming activities will be E Scooters and High Ropes which can be prebooked - just awaiting government guidance for these activities.
A fun extra activity taking place at the venue daily is Paint A Pot, which is suitable for all ages!

Cycle route 63 runs through conkers. There is an old railway line that runs adjacent to the canal so you can cycle out to donisthorpe along the canal and back via the railway. Donisthorpe is a large area and from there you can continue along the old track bed to Measham.
