Booked a spa day for a facial, coffee and cake, 2 hours use of facilities and robe/towel included. Lovely facial and very friendly helpful staff. The foot spas, tropical shower, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi really nice, really wanted to leave 5 stars but drain smell in showers, VERY hot relaxation room and pool needing a bit of TLC let everything else down. I'd like outdoor seating area but this is personal choice. All in all though, a brilliant day and would definitely return!

Run down and dirty, no therapists available even though was advised when booked that treatments would be available, booked for a full day as a treat for my mum and we had to leave after 2 hours. The pool edge was dirty, the floors were dirty and everywhere generally run down. The rails into the jacuzzi were dodgy and my mum nearly fell in, the foot spas were dirty and one didn’t work properly and no such thing as an ‘Ice experience’ other than a cold shower. Not impressed won’t be returning or recommending to friends. Staff didn’t seem that interested that had been misadvised and not even offer of any of our money back. Very unimpressed.

Booked the hotel and spa for a weekend break. Staff were great and the food was good too. However, our room was very small, as was the bed. We're both around 6' tall and our feet were hanging off the end. Couple that with the fact we could hear cars driving past on the road all through the night meant we had a terrible night's sleep, and we're both heavy sleepers who frequently stay in hostels. The massage was good at the spa, but because of the room and bed, we ended up checking out a night earlier than we had booked.

It’s been tired and in need of a refurb for a few years now, but unfortunately still hasn’t had one.
I came on a deal with my partner with a 30 minute treatment each and use of the facilities. The massages were lovely, we had them in a ‘double’ room, which was nice but it’s definitely not actually a double room, but really a normal room that they have squished 2 beds in.
Unfortunately that’s where the praise ends, pool area very tired, cracked and broken tiles etc. and dirty. The ‘experience’ shower is broken and the pool is freezing.
The changing rooms are even worse, they are very dirty, the showers barely work, again cracked and loose tiles in the showers and just generally quite unpleasant.
Was told when we got there that there was shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc in changing rooms, instead there is just an all in one thing on the wall so definitely bring your own conditioner if you want to be able to get a brush through your hair afterwards.
All in all, the treatments are nice and if you get a really good deal then worth going for those, but otherwise avoid the spa.

Visited a couple of years ago and it was fine but a bit tired and in need of some TLC. Well this has not happened and is now in need of some serious TLC! Place is very tired and needs a refit, changing rooms are small and dirty. Only saving grace is staff are friendly and treatments are good but even on a deal this is not worth the money. Needs some significant investment, do not recommend at all and will not be returning.

Visited for a girly spa break. Most things about the break were fine, the staff on reception both in the hotel and spa were lovely. The facilities are small and limited but still relaxing, looking at previous reviews we were lucky everything was working. In particular I enjoyed the foot baths and heated tile seats. Seems a bit odd to have an outdoor garden area off the spa and nothing in it? Why not some loungers?
I can't give a better rating as my massage was very poor and I felt on edge and uncomfortable rather than relaxed. The therapist started off by telling me she usually does sports massages on men but 'she does have to take ladies too'- so gracious of her! When she asked about the pressure, I said medium, relaxing not painful. She kept demanding I choose between 'relaxing' and 'feeling like I'd actually had a massage'. I said I wanted relaxing as I didn't want a sports massage as that's not what I'd booked. This resulted in her barely touching me for the first 10 minutes of the massage. When I said she could apply more pressure, she said snappily 'so you do want to feel like you've had a massage'. This resulted in me feeling stressed and uncomfortable during the rest of the treatment.
I'm sure this lady is very good at sports massages but she should not be allocated to spa treatments that are supposed to be relaxing if that's all she wants to do. I wished I'd booked a facial as the others I was with had lovely treatments with other therapists.
I didn't raise any complaints at the time as my mum had paid for the break and I didn't want her to know I hadn't enjoyed it. But I do hope management read these reviews and allocate the therapists more carefully in future.

Came here today for my wife’s birthday spa day. Lovely welcome on arrival. Very friendly staff. Had such a good massage, the girls were brilliant. Had a relaxing time in the sauna, steam room and pool. Topped off with afternoon tea. Left today feeling the most relaxed in ages, amazing time and I can’t wait to come back. 10/10

We arrived early and were able to use the spa facilities before check in. Our treatment wasn’t until the morning after our stay so when we checked in I asked if it would be possible to have a late check out, this was not an issue for them at all which ensured we could get ready after our treatment. For the treatments I had a facial my partner had a massage, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Abbie the spa therapist was amazing it was the most amazing facial and it really did top off a brilliant stay! The food was amazing for dinner and breakfast and the staff were all lovely!

We visited on a Groupon booking for two people with a treatment and use of facilities for half day. It was £75 and I thought this was fairly reasonable. However the facilities are very tired and in need of a bit of TLC. The changing rooms are dirty. The showers would not turn off and would not adjust heat. The toilet door would not lock. Within the spa facilities the foot spas and the experience shower were out of order. Basically leaving the sauna and steam room. The pool was ok if not a little cold, the jacuzzi was it's only saving grace. The treatment was great; Abbie did mine and took into account my requirements. We also had afternoon tea at an extra cost of £15 each. It took a while to come out and didn't come with any plates when it did.
Staff are a credit but the place let's the whole experience down.

I took my sister for an early birthday treat for a fire and ice experience. Unfortunately it was an embarrassment, the pool was freezing so we didn’t step foot into it, one foot spa wasn’t working so we shared the other one and the jacuzzi was out of order for a short while. Felt sorry for other visitors, one lady came for swim in her lunch hour but said it was too cold so that was a waste of time, another lady recovering from knee op and needed to exercise came for swim she did go in but not for long as she got too cold and another couple came for a birthday treat and said same as us. The only consolation was they didn’t charge me for the coffee and cake I ordered in the afternoon. It could have been a one off day and it was an experience, just not a pleasant one.
