Caving and abseiling- so much fun and a unique activity. Malc is very skilled and you feel safe with him whilst having a laugh. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience with Malc. Told us everything we need to know and even managed to get a terrified 8 year old to love every minute of it!

Malc was a great instructor, really informative and patient. Caving and abseiling great fun! Beautiful scenery and drive too.

Been coming on trips with Malc for a few years now. Really enjoy the caving trips. All the experiences are well organised & great fun. Malc is a great instructor & all his trips are great value for money. Would recommend to anyone.

We did the gorge walking and caving. It's really good value compared to other activities I looked at.
We met in the morning then followed Malc to the gorge walk location. He provides wetsuits and jackets. We did have to get changed in a layby so be prepared for that!
The gorge walk was good fun even if it was freezing. Malc doesn't make you do anything you don't want to do (only one of us jumped into the pool because it was so cold) and he said if we needed to get out and walk at any point that was fine.
We then went to do the caving. Oversuits, helmets and gloves were provided. Again the caving was really good. It's nice to be in a small group and it feels quite personal and we felt comfortable at all times.
Malc takes lots of photos so you have plenty of memories of the day.
We will definitely do another activity with him when we are next in the Peak District.

Booking process was spot on and easy enough, it was bought as a gift from Groupon and due to Covid, Malc kindly allowed us to extend our voucher FOC to this year.
The gorge walk was great! A real challenge but fun and the water was so refreshingly cold (helped that the weather was lovely). Wet suits and helmets provided. Malc gave us some history on the area and supervised us in a professional manner.
Our group consisted of one other couple who when we came to do the caving, the lady was not confident in going too far into the cave so my partner and I only got roughly 15 minutes in the cave which was quite disappointing as we were really enjoying it and were up for a challenge. It would’ve been good to escort the lady back to the cave entrance and then we continue further into the cave but never mind.
All in all, great day had. Some great photos taken by Malc too and provided to us for free which was lovely. Although I’m not a fan of black and white and it appears that’s how Malc takes all his photos haha.
Would recommend and will most likely book again!
Tip: if you are claustrophobic or not keen on small spaces, do not book caving - for the sake of other group members haha!

We booked a half-term day out with Malc of Truth & Trust Adventure for the October half-term. Met up in a car park outside Matlock Bath at 08:30 on a wet Tuesday morning, and set off on what turned into a great day out.
We drove into the hills, parked up, kitted out, and had a short squelchy walk to our first activity. Caving. Our first experience, which opened with a circa 8 m descent on a rope into an old lead mine. Malc was an excellent guide, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the caving experience, at times finding ourselves a little “stretched” by the experience. But we all squeezed through, and learnt about the cave on the way.
After another drive and a lunch break, it was abseiling. Great fun.
I’d happily spend another day with Malc on the same or similar activities.
He looked after us very well, was great with the kids (13 and 10).

Just got back from a fantastic day off climbing and abseiling.
Malc is a great tutor and top bloke.

Wow what a fantastic day making memories that will last a lifetime.
In the capable hands of Malc off into the peak district we headed. It turned out adventure waited around every bend.
Gorges were conquered, waterfalls climbed, stunning scenery was viewed, an incredibly high bridge was abseiled from with much laughter and wonder along the way.
Awesome, awesome, awesome.

A fabulous day, with Malc managing to excite and satisfy very varied ages and abilities (and all safely). Definitely worth coming from London to the Peak District for this. Hope to be retuning. Sarah and Tamar

Yes! Malc is fully qualified and has been doing it for years. All safety equipment is provided and Malc is there the whole time to supervise.
