I popped in for lunch on a hot day in September. I found the staff to be welcoming and helpful. They food was fantastic. I would highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for breakfast or lunch. 10/10

The tour into the huge Welbeck estate and around the house was a revelation. We had no idea that there was a whole village there plus a centuries old riding school and many other intriguing features. There were so many paintings and treasures within the house which were expertly explained by the knowledgeable guides. Well worth the price of the tour.

We had the most fantastic tour of the State Rooms at Welbeck Abbey, a real treat as they aren’t usually open to the public. Our guides Barrie and Joe were extremely knowledgeable and brought the stories of the Abbey and the family to life, and because we were in a small group it felt like we were in a privileged little bubble for a couple of hours! Thoroughly recommend this tour, a grand way to spend a morning.

A wonderful afternoon seeing behind the normally closed doors of a magnificent home. The guides, like all the team members we met, were friendly and welcoming and brought each room to life with their knowledge and enthusiasm. Everything was very well organised, including some much needed sunshine!, which enabled us to fully appreciate the areas of the gardens that we could see. Having heard about the tunnels and underground ballroom, it would be wonderful if these could be safely opened for visitors in the future. A memorable visit - thank you.

Excellent knowledgeable guides and well organised. I really enjoyed the experience. However, in spite of the “blue chairs” I did notice one or two of the party did appear to possibly find the 2 hours too much.

all of the house tour was brilliant , the guides were excellent, would love to see more as it is renovated and opened to the public, the underground ball room and the gardens in particular

We enjoyed a rare opportunity to visit Welbeck Abbey's state rooms on 17 August. It was extremely well organised and led by two friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic guides who managed to keep things relaxed, despite how much material and ground they had to cover. We were made to feel welcome and, despite the awesome grandeur of the interiors and the necessary care being taken to protect them, we were given ample time to browse at leisure and ask questions. A most memorable afternoon.
