Manager should be ashamed at this place. £1.50 a game of pool in a bar serving beer in warm glasses where one of the pool tables is so tilted it’s a joke. Tables were left with empty glasses on all night and the seats are filthy. Utter joke.

Haven’t bowled for year, 6 of us went after a meal on Friday evening,
You can now wear your own shoes if you want to so make sure you have rubber soles and low heals if you want to do that.
Easy to set up the score board and lots of ball to bowl with. I think we paid £8.99 pp per game

Took my 2 boys bowling in half term, turned up with out booking and was told I could have a game in an hour which was great so booked and paid for it, then came back within the hour and all ready to play. Kids had a blast which = I happy mummy 😊 will definitely be back again soon.

Start to finish awful, we had our nieces with us and when we were bowling we asked to be placed away from others as the girls are little and quite timid and as it wasn’t busy hoped this would be granted but it wasn’t! The boys playing next to us were loud and swearing while smashing the balls down the lane so fast and aggressive they could have broken the floor! we were half way through when we decided we had to say something, we approached a staff member who got us a “manager” which is a laughable term to use, the girl (black hair) wearing a coat inside, basically said well what do you want, move to another lane and we will let you play there but didn’t ask the boys to stop swearing or calm down at all and just slumped off with an attitude, my nieces were scared and should not have felt so uncomfortable trying to play which for one of them was their first ever attempt to bowl, really heartbreaking that neither of them enjoyed there day out or want to return to bowl again.

The whole arcade and bowling area was really buzzing with lots of different people and it was a really nice atmosphere of everyone having fun at all ages. We played pool and 2 rounds of bowling and it was very fun. I was just surprised at how expensive it was! For 4 people, 2 rounds of bowling came to £51! To be honest I’m not sure if this is normal or not as I haven’t bowled for years, it just seemed like a lot to me! But if you can get over the price, the rest of the evening was great and I would recommend it for a few good hours of good old fashioned fun.

Upon entering, everything seemed to be OK with Bowlplex. It appeared to be clean and tidy - not too long to queue for entry and were soon set up in good time for 2 games of bowling.
Unfortunately our experience took a turn for the worst when the pinsetting machine failed. Pressing the reset button had no effect, so we alerted staff through the computer which signals "SOS" on the overhead screen, an alert you would be hard pressed to miss unless your closest life companion had 4 legs, a wet nose and wears a high-viz vest.
In the misplaced assumption that this beacon would go heeded in prompt fashion, we endured waited patiently for 15 minutes, making eye contact with the reception staff until my associate accosted a passing member of staff who assured him that she would relay his predicament to the reception staff, standing only a few meters away.
We waited a further 10 mins before calling the manager, Dessie, over for an explanation.
The very concept of a manager is thus: you remunerate an individual relatively handsomely in order to marshall, motivate and take responsibility for the other staff and the premises ie - the buck lands on them.
Dessie, replete with a strange lackadaisical demeanour ill-befitting someone in charge, appeared to disagree with these tenets by implication, and what we got in response was basically a 101 of what not to say to anyone in a complaint situation.
He accused my associate of lying about notifying a member of staff (something that he later retracted upon analysis of CCTV) and when confronted with reports of the toilets being bereft of toilet paper and securely locking doors he absolved himself of responsibility by retorting that "he'd not been in there" and that "it's Saturday and its busy". This may have been true, but staff still managed to find the time to stand around chatting, time which could've been used in more productive endeavours. Maybe changing toilet roll? Locks do not break all at the same time, so this issue must have been prevalent for a while, something a manager who knows his onions would have detected on a routine inspection.
I will say however that the member of staff Clifford was superb and Dessie would do well to take his lead in learning how to apologise to customers and trying to make a bad situation better.

I'll be honest, bowling is not my favorite thing to do in the world. I find it somewhat boring but we wanted to take my niece out for the day and she likes it so here we are!
This was my second time bowling here and both times I've had a good experience. We were very early for our game and the helpful lady at the desk still let us have the lane as it was free which was good as my niece was almost bursting with excitement.
We managed to get it all set up on the computer but couldn't figure how to put the barriers up for my niece, a quick trip to the desk was solved this.
We found bowling balls that suited us pretty quickly and the ramp thing was easy to locate for my niece to use. We all had a good time, even though we only stopped for one game.
We then used the arcade machines, which I know are a rip off but winning 80ish tickets should equal more than a lolly. I could have brought a bag of lollies for the cost it took to win one!
Overall the place is nice and clean and we didn't have any problems why we were there. It's certainly better than the one in Aldershot & Bracknell!

Average bowling, don't need to change shoes etc. Made the mistake of ordering a sharing platter. For 6 you get half a burger each, a handful of chicken nuggets and few chips. It was served cold. The burgers were terrible, just bun and meat. Very budget food.

It was a Sunday afternoon and there was only one member of staff at the reception desk so when one of the balls got stuck in THEIR machine. We waited till we got to the front of the queue and then were told to wait until they had served everybody else in the line. What makes this even WORSE is that there was only 1 size 8 ball!!!!!!. This meant that we had to wait half an hour for them to come and help.

I came here with my boyfriend after researching the prices online. When we got our tickets, the prices were considerably higher than the website. We were then told that it's because they were "Ten Pin" now and not "Bowlplex" even though there was a mssive sign on the building that said "Bowlplex". Anyway, we bought our game (just the one as it was so pricey) and went to play. As we finished our game we happened to notice a sign. The sign said something along the lines of "Come after 7pm and get 3 games for x price" - which was almost what we had paid for just the one game. It would have been REALLY nice, if the man had told us that in 1 hour a great deal would be on. The game itself was fine... I lost.
