It was an okay visit, nothing too special, not really enjoyed the experience, not too sure if I would visit this again!

Worst day of my life!
Attended through the decades it was over booked way too crowded. Meant to be a family day as children can attend but had pole dancers. That’s only the least of it. The crowd got tear gassed. As I was entering the crowd from coming from the toilet I started choking and my eyes burning, everyone was running out coughing. My younger sister attended and ended up in paramedics throwing up. How can you allow authority to harm so many people and children. Security wouldn’t let anyone In the building to get water despite all choking. My sister was in there and refusing to let me enter till I pushed through myself to get to her. It’s changed to a horrible night out with groups of dangerous people bringing knifes. Security is poor people enter over the fence without having to go through the bag search endangering us all. I will never attend it again and I doubt many will, I never thought I would exteriors such a scary thing.

First visit to this racecourse, impressed with the quality of the stands, padock area and the general layout. Plenty of drink and food outlets with ample staff (prices though could be considered expensive but are on a par with similar venues I have attended recently).
A good evenings racing was had and the music with Martin Kemp, as DJ, completed a throughly enjoyable visit.

I was here last night to attend one of their summer night events. It was great fun actually. I had two glasses of Processo and some nice tasty hot pizza as well. I enjoyed the music as well. I danced late into the night. I even bet on some race horses.
I had a great time overall. Next time I will bring more money in order to buy some nice food other than pizza and drinks too. Amazing night out for sure. Make sure to have enough money to purchase delicious food, drink and experiences that add up overall.

Being Platinum Jubilee Year for the Queen, and as the Derby took place just over this racecourse a couple of days ago, we had always wanted to visit, so that what we decided to do, so here is my review of the day.
On arrival at Tattenham Corner railway station, if you are able to climb up the incline hill,you will be able to see a wonderful panoramic view of the whole of the racecourse, there are benches there, we sat for a few minutes taking it all in, Amazing see my picture below.
We then descended the hill, and made our way to the delightful hut, that houses The Downs Lunch Box, this hut caters for everyone and is a perfect stopping off place just beside the racecourse there are beautiful bench tables to eat your food at.
The food we purchased filled a hole, before we entered the grounds inside the racecourse, amazing to think that the thunder of horses galloping towards the winning post as you walk over the track.
There is a memorial to a lady Emily Davison that got killed on the racecourse unfortunately as you made our way around the top end of course, before you make you way down as the course bends, you get a wonderful view of the Wembley Arch behind the main Grandstand.
We finally got to the bottom of the course and you again get to see a different view from you first glance earlier, we then walked up back to the winning post to take photos before we quenched our thisk sorry wrong racecourse thirst in the wonderful place Rubbing Horse Pub, the pub is so placed that it’s right at the bottom of the final straight what would the view be on Derby Day a sight to behold no doubt.
After our drink we crossed the course for the final time and made our way pass the main grandstand and the other pub the Derby Arms and along the aptly named grandstand road, don’t forget to see across the golf course a wonderful view of the whole of London if you had a putt on this hole you may be fined for a slow play see my picture see what I mean.
We finally made our a lovely residential miniature model village feel to it before finding what you can’t imagine would be there Epsom Downs station before making our way back home.
So in summary, so get under starters orders, and saddle up and you could be on a winner you won’t be Surrey to visit this wonderful racecourse, I did and it was a classic.

Two day 60th Birthday Celebrations. Great race course, amazing atmosphere, lovely drinks and food. Some winners, fabulous event and made my husband birthday extra special.

Popped up to see the flypast for the Platinum Jubilee and although everyone was getting ready for the Oaks & The Derby the following days, the parking was available to be used, free of charge!!! A momentous offering in this day and age so FULL marks to all in charge there!! We walked across the road and watched the flypast in between all the tents and stalls preparing for the racing festival. Quickie ice cream and then back home - thank you all at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

Makes for a great day out. Come up here, bring a picnic and marvel at the views and the horses. Take some photos too. Sit in your car, appreciate the scenery and have a summer picnic outside as well. In the colder months, go to the nearby pub for a nice hot meal and a warm drink plus a chat.
Walk around in addition. Buy a refreshing ice cream or drink from the mobile ice cream van that comes here on hot days. Spend a whole hour here on your own or with friends or family members. Take a frisbee, or fly a kite. Recommended. Perfect for nature lovers of all ages and walkers of all sizes and abilities.
Have fun. Remember to have a hat and money in case for food.

Hi - Two questions from me...
On a non-Derby day are there any bookies,bars etc on the inside of the track i.e. the free area
Also-does the Jockey club charge for children into the enclosures? It's not clear what the concessions are for children on their website...

Hello. Are light blue, smart jeans with no rips permitted in the hospitality area? Along with, shirt tia and jacket? Really looking forward to next Saturday and wouldn’t want anything to go wrong
