I took a group of older people for morning tea trip we were picked up from Settlers Cove which is a bit difficult for the older ones getting on & off the water taxi then onto the Paddlewheeler. The tour was great going up the Colo River eating a wonderful Devonshire Tea this business needs to be supported it has great local history and wonderful captain & crew which will make your trip one to remember. Thanks Ian & crew.

Although it was an extremely hot day , our experience was amazing . Excellent lunch and pleasing live music combined with breathtaking views made our journey memorable. Anyone visiting Hawkesbury must enjoy this . Thanks to Rachel for organizing vegetarian (vegan) lunch for two of us. The staff were very courteous and made our journey very comfortable

I did a dinner cruise with friends on Sunday night, about 23 of us. The crew were lovely and made us feel very welcome.We had a guitarist/singer who kept us entertained, his song selection suited us exactly and with Xmas songs as well - it was a Xmas get together for us. Food was very good and enjoyed by all. A very lovely way to spend an evening.

I was disappointed in this cruise. The food was ok, but I'm not into old fashioned banjo music (I'm on the wrong side of 65 too) & found it really annoying. I was actually surprised at the vegetation along this part of the Hawkesbury River. I might be wrong, but it appeared to have a lot of thick non native vegetation along the banks, and very little of interest.

I went with a large group of people, many elderly and have difficulty in walking. A new bridge is being constructed, so access to the paddlewheeler is very dangerous for these people. There were a lot of old wooden, uneven steps, some going up, some down and the pathway was full of gravel, not good for many of us. When we finally made the horrendous trip down and boarded, we were refused a drink, but I asked for a soft drink and it was provided reluctantly. The steps up and down on the boat were very tricky, I had to hang on to the rail for dear life, it was a bit scary. We sat at a table and were told it was reserved for someone else....We had a group booking and wanted our group together! Some members of our group could not make the climb up to where the lunch was served, we were told we had to serve them!! Not easy carrying plates of food up and down the narrow steps!!
The lunch was ordinary, and as we were the last table to be served, there was very little salad and coleslaw left and the food was luke warm.
The cruise went for about 2 hours along a very muddy Hawkesbury. We disembarked and made our way slowly back up the hill and steps to our bus in 32 degree heat. We all welcomed the sight of our air conditioned comfy bus after the long trek!!

Travelled a few kms up the hawkesbury by the paddlewheeler but no commentary on the way,only a singer which may be good for dinner but not lunch cruise.Meal was adequate but not much more .Storms can upset the movement and we just made it back before we were hit by one

I went to have a look at this trip as I had seen the advert and it was not far to drive, but when we got there the boat was tied up in the middle of the river not sure why , but they are building a new bridge across the river and the boat doesn't look like it gone far in the last few weeks so check before you go

we booked never herd a thing,no reply.so when we were there we took a walk along to see for our selves.well what a load of crap not even running along side building works for new bridge,even if it had been running I certainly would not go on a pond in it.

My daughter was married on the 17th March 2018 on the Paddle Wheeler. Ian the captain and all the staff went over and above to make the day memorable. The food was great and the trip very tranquil. A great way to celebrate occasions or just a nice way to pass a few hours.

Gledswood Hills Probus went on Wed 21st February 2018 and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. We arrrived early and had a drink at the Macquarie Arms Hotel just up the street which was a nice way to start the days'activity. There were 17 of us and we had the boat to ourselves. The weather was good and everyone had an enjoyable time. No shortage of food and the desserts were very nice. Would recommend it to anyone and no doubt we will go back.
