We were in the area for a weekend getaway, and were visiting the historic Teegarden Covered Bridge, and someone told us about the Greenway trail. We were hoping to get some hiking in, so we starting walking on a beautiful, crisp, colorful October morning. The walk was amazing - super quiet, everywhere you looked was just amazing scenery, and despite the great paved path, hardly any bikers (which was great, we hate always having to dodge around people on bikes). We walked for several miles, and just really enjoyed every step. Would love to come back and hike this more often!

Quite a bit of this trail has shade and was great for riding when the temperature reached 85 degrees! There were quite a few people on the trail, biking & walking.
There is quite a grade for the first few miles and the trail surface is rough for about a mile nearing the city of Leetonia.
The coke ovens located just off the trail in Leetonia were awesome!
The trail was challenging enough to give us a good workout for day and we would like to ride it again in the future.

This is so serene-I spend a lot of time walking the trail. In the spring the variety of birds is great; last week I saw a pileated woodpecker and an Indigo bunting. Fall is beautiful and winter even has its own beauty. A real treasure in Columbiana County.

We have been biking this trail for three years and drive 40 minutes to reach the Leetonia entrance. The trail is wide and safe for bikers to pass one another. The trail is restful and scenic through beautiful farm country. A gradual slope makes biking enjoyable and not overly taxing. The trail is in good repair.

My husband and I just got new bikes so we hit the trail on a sunny October day. Views were beautiful with the leaves changing and the river flowing beside the trail. The trail had some inclines but was not too challenging. Several places along the way to stop and rest or take in the views if you choose too. Ample restrooms as well.

Beautiful bike trail along the Little Beaver Creek. One of the best scenic trails around!! Mile 4 - 6.5 a nice railroad track climb but basically the trail is very easy.

Besutiful overlooks of wild and scenic BeVer Creek, cool ahaded treed trail w break stations along the way. Ideal family expereince or serious bike enthusiasts. Historic McKinley Home, and Rebecca furnace at Not Scout camp and Teagarten covered bridge are highlights of Columbiana Co. area. It will soon be linked w MahoningTrumbull Ashtabula Trails. To provide serious biker travel.

Just an update on Jim M's review. He said "There are porta-johns at the 9 & 10 mile markers, as shown on the TrailLink map, but nothing after the Leetonia trailhead,"
That is a little misleading. There is a porta-john at the start of the trail just before you get to Donna's Bike Shop. Then another just after the two mile mark and a parking lot. Then one at Franklin Square at 8.5 miles from Lisbon. Also has a parking lot. Then like Jim said one at the 10 mile mark with a parking lot. Also has a Gazebo if you want to rest and have a snack. Then if you continue thru Leetonia the trail goes another 2.5 miles. At the end is another Gazebo and porta-john. Once you bet back on the trail past Leetonia about a mile or so there is another porta-john and a parking lot. They recently made a path from there to walk up to the coke ovens. On the way back if you are hungry you can stop at Dairy Queen just a short distance from the trail. Hope this helped anyone that rides this great trail.
