2 star reasons: severe lack of enough and clean bathrooms, changing areas, drink stations, tables to eat, and SHADED AREAS AND CHAIRS in Soak City. Could be easily improved but it’s like they just don’t care to be in the tier of the best of the best? Whoever manages Soak City needs to be replaced and a panel of everyday mothers should be advising what you need to become amazing. I really don’t know how Soak City can get away with such a severe lack of facilities?Food is crazy overpriced through the park. The meal/drink plan is clearly worth it.
3 star reasons: moderate lack of adequate signage throught the parks and parking lot, food and ride lines aren’t terrible but there is definite need for improvement, obviously shortstaffed in all areas of the park, you need more areas to get ice cream
4 star reasons: warm water in Soak City, good prices on season passes, good security presence, the lights at night are gorgeous
5 star reasons: LaRosas’a at KI is the best LaRosa’s - it just hits different, amazing and a great variety of rides and coasters, the lights/landscaping/fountain vibe along Main Street, admission itself is fairly affordable especially with coupons or buying a pass, kids and teens of all ages love KI!
From Cincy and have probably been here 100 or more times. This could be a 4-5 star park, but it’s frustrating because the same complaints many parents have had for years go unaddressed.

My family just got gold passes and went on a Saturday. We stood in line for White Water Canyon which seemed to move pretty quickly considering how many people were in line. Fast forward to Sunday when we went, and the line took forever. As we made our way to the front, we noticed that the operator was stopping the boats where you get on and off instead of letting them go. This caused a major backup. I assume these were two different people, but can we have the Saturday operator teach the Sunday one. I don't know what the correct way is but ever since I can remember the boats were always moving. People get off a boat then new people get on. No stopping unless an emergency or something. It was frustrating.

The park was clean enough. The staff self absorbed. The park was ran inefficiently from the entrance on through. The lines unnecessarily long. The water park a den of iniquity. My children could not ride some water rides because they had on a cotton top, but a bare chested man and/or a literally naked butt female could ride all day. Kings island has lost my respect and my support forever. Long gone are the descent days.

Kings Island is a great Theme Park outside Cincinnati Ohio. My daughter is on the spectrum and absolutely loved Planet Snoopy and the new Camp Snoopy addition. For Kids under 48 inches there is so much to do and ride.
Along with Planet Snoopy she rode, Mystic Timbers,Backlog coaster,The Beast (night ride), The Bat,Racer, and Adventure Express roller coasters.
Great Dining options, water slides, and a few water rides in the park. UNDER THE STARS drone show was good, and great firework show.
Going to attend the seasonal Haunt/Tricks and Treats this Fall along with Winter Fest the winter. Can't wait!

This was our first time at Kings Island. We have been to many different amusement parks and I was very impressed by this park. We went on a Tuesday in July and did not have to wait long for any of the rides. We went on every roller coaster and the longest wait was 30min for the Orion. Our favorite ride was Mystic Timbers. I loved the music in the one section of the park that turned popular rock songs to "twangy country" songs -- that was very original.
We purchased the food bundle ticket which you can get food every 90 min. I wish drinks were included, but we bought two cups with free all day refills and one water bottle that could be refilled also.
I do wish they had signs around the park pointing out where different attractions are. The online app was difficult for me to navigate.
Never made it to the water park, or the fireworks. The day was very hot and we just got tired and went home early around 7.

It has gone from 100 to 0 in a very short time. I was very happy with the staff and atmosphere of Kings Island. Now that is gone. The staff rude the clean park gone. Fights among drunk park goers. I was charged for yet a second time $39.00 for grapes. My husband and I were accosted by a group of people in the parking lot. We had our two Grandchildren with us. The security did nothing. I had to go to a outside source for help. Not counting the people in skimpy bathing suits running around the park. It has gone down hill. It is so sad. It is dangerous and not a place for family fun. Many people were saying the same thing at the park. I am canceling our season pass renewal. Going to get passes from Holiday World.

We came here for their Mardi Gras event, so we showed up at 4 pm having purchased the Mardi Gras bundle. It is a great deal. For $45 you get after 4 admission, parking, and $20 to spend in the park! We have been to almost all of the parks in Orlando as well as Cedar Point and found this one to be on par with Cedar Point. Obviously, the parade is not going to be like Universal's Mardi Gras parade, but they did a good job. We were a little bummed that they don't throw beads from the floats, but we asked an employee for beads later and they gave us a couple. All of the employees we encountered were nice and helpful. The bathrooms we went in were reasonably clean. A lot of people seemed surprised that they couldn't take loose items on intense coasters like Orion, but those rules are the same everywhere. We like the big coasters, so we wear belt bags when going to amusement parks. We were able to go on everything with those. The park was hard to navigate at first since it was unfamiliar to us. I think it would be great if they gave out paper maps again; I don't always want to be checking my phone to see if I'm going the right way, but, again, pretty much every park expects you to use the app instead of giving out maps nowadays. The employees I asked for directions from pointed me the right way. Do be aware that the park is completely cashless no matter how small the purchase. If you're there for Mardi Gras, the smoked duck fried rice in China is great but small, the cannoli in Italy is excellent, but we found the Black Forest trifle in Germany to be a bit dry. Each International food item seemed to be around $10. Stay for the fireworks and drone show at night; it's certainly not Disney, but it's well done and the Royal Fountain in the front of the park looks beautiful all lit up.

For starters I was over charged online for items I did not need.
I was double charged for the FUNPIX (that by the way; not one single picture was taken) so I was charged for a service and product I never received. I was also double charged for parking.
Then (my 11-year-old son who is afraid of coasters was too big to ride most of the rides in snoopy land and any rides that he was able and willing to ride in the adult area was closed and this mainly includes the water rides. (I would have been perfectly satisfied had my son been able to find a ride or 2 he liked, and we would have ridden them over and over, but we got there at 11 am and left seriously mad at just past 3 pm.
I purchased the food packages and was unable to get water as a choice and it was 100 degrees outside with no shade and no way of cooling off but to drink coke products, which by the way only added to the dehydration.
There were several employees that were rather rude. (Let’s not mention the young lady (your employee) that hit me in the face.)
The finally of why me and my son left was because after searching for 30 minutes in desperation for shade and or a cooler location. (I was very sick and almost passed out from the heat and was suffering a nasty headache)
We went to a pizzeria at the front entrance of the park and outside of the restaurant there were tables with umbrellas/cabanas at them.
I did notice that not one umbrella was up to provide a shaded seat for anyone, but I figured that perhaps simply that hadn’t been put up by mistake; so, I put the umbrella up to try to get my son and I cooled off and following my was another couple with young children that also put their umbrella up.
All the sudden while we were eating our dinner; this girl comes out of the pizzeria and scolds me for putting the umbrella up. (I tried to explain to her that it is horribly hot and there was simply no escape from the heat and son). She then smarts off and says in a very sassy tone that she does not want them up and she has a job to do.
She then reaches up while we are seated and drops the umbrella down and the umbrella smacks me straight in the face. I then grabbed my face to check if the skin had been peeled off my nose.
She then proceeds to storm off to the next table without apology and does the exact same thing to the couple with the young children.
My son and I then got up and tossed our meal in the trash and left the park.
I will never come back to this park again.

Kings Island is always an amazing time. There was an electrical issue on the big rides due to the storm the night before but they were as quick as possible to get it correct and be fully operating. The fireworks were absolutely amazing!
My only disappointment is that we go to LaRosa's for pizza every year but I was very very disappointed in the pricing. 5 pizza's last year were about $125, this year 2 pizza's were $94., that's excessive in my opinion.

Are there phone chargers located in the park since it is cashless? Also can you tell me the cost/pp for the Xtreme Skyflyer?

Can't answer officially but when they say no drinks or food allowed and every other person has both, why would they not allow fans.

The manufacturer requires a maximum Rider height on the following rides: 76" (Delirium, Flying Ace Aerial Chase), 78" (Banshee, Invertigo) and 80" (Drop Tower)

Are there restrictions on purses/bags? I have a few questions… Are lockers available at one location or several? ( we are not season pass holders). Do we need to bring lanyards, like at Universal, or will we be given wrist bands? Is sunscreen provided?

Lockers are available at 4 locations in the main park and 2 in the water park. All purses and bags are fine, but they will be searched for anything weapon-like (including mace or scissors). As a non-passholder, there is nothing I can thing of you would use a lanyard for. Single day Fast pass or food/beverage is done with a wristband. I do not believe there is complimentary sunscreen provided.
