After seeing it being listed as one of places for a Friday Fish Fry, we decided to give it a try. The parking lot was full, with cars circling around waiting for a parking spot. Once inside, we were quickly seated. The place was full. Thank goodness the music was kept at a very low volume, so that you can enjoy a conversation. We both ordered the fish fry special (excellent). This place was family oriented. There were grandparents to little babies inside. (This was during lent on a Friday night so we don't know what's it like at other times.) The waitress was friendly enough for being very busy. Parking lot on the side of the building. We would go again.

I had a fundraiser here recently and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Michelle was so nice and accommodating. The cost of having the event included the food and drinks for the guest and was very low so that we were able to keep as much money as possible for our cause. Michelle even set up our raffle baskets for us the night before and provided the tickets for all of the raffles. All of this made our event stress free. I will definitely be back soon to support this wonderful establishment.

This use to be the Band Box, and I met hubby there, so we went back, it was cold, drafty and had a foul smell in it, seats were ripped and wobbled, they had three beers, no craft beers on tap period. Happy Hour is few hours not all week, I was disappointed. We left and went to Characters and we had a great time!

This was a typical hometown restaurant & bar. They specialize in fish fry on Fridays. Okay, maybe I'm spoiled. But the fish fry was just okay. I should have ordered the smaller portion. Live & Learn! I guess it's listed as an attraction by TripAdvisor. Maybe tourists consider it so. But to me it was just a local bar & restaurant. BTW it took forever to get served, and longer to get the food!

Try the perogies smothered in melted butter and onions. Or their big burger. Lots to choose from. Friendly locals always hanging out here.
