We rented a raft for some DIY fun on the river with the family. We have three kids, including a one-year old. The staff was extremely helpful and informative about the conditions we could expect on the river and provided us with a great recommendation for a trip that would last a few hours. The price of the rental (which was amazingly reasonable) included shuttle service and pfd's plus a cooler. We couldn't be happier with the staff and the service they provided.

Ferron is a very nice and knowledgable guide. Nobody had any availability for a one day ride except him in August so he saved us. He is a biologist and is knowledgable about the history and the landscape. He did the whole tour for our family of 3 on his raft with extra canoe. The river was clean and mirror like in some spots and rapids in others. The water was warm enough to swim in. We even saw a black bear along the way.

This was a very fun river trip especially for me a beginner! Ferron was very nice, kind, funny and knows what he is doing! His two dogs were very fun to watch. It is something I will want to do again. The river is beautiful. Everything was awesome!!! 😃

This family run rafting company gives maybe the most unique experience the upper rogue has to offer. Is also pet friendly. Lunch comes with cookies that are baked at home!

What an amazing and fun experience! We were a family group of 15, teens, adults, and do I say a senior rafter. We had two boats and a few single and double kayaks. Sue and Ferron were our guides on the big rafts. They told lots of stories and entertained us as they guided us down the river. They did most of the work and we could enjoy the blue herons, bald eagles, ducks and turtles. They made a delicious lunch for us half way through our trip. We felt very safe on the river. The river was exciting and thrilling with lots of opportunities to get wet. Highly recommend this trip for anyone coming to town.

We took an afternoon trip during spring break.I was a little hesitant (chicken) to go rafting, but Ferron provided a fun and safe trip. We traveled with 2 teenage boys and Ferron suggested they try the inflatable kayaks for a little more excitement.Great idea! The boys had so much fun, even experiencing a tumble into the river at one point. But we never worried for their safety. Ferron knows that river like the back of his hand, and his stories were very engaging. Thanks for a lovely time, Ferron and Sue. I'm sure we will be back again.

Booked raft rentals through Ferrins for a large birthday group awhile ago. Equipment was good, just not the most organized departure experience. Good prices and very friendly staff did not use them as a guide service just for the rentals and transportation.

Last year, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our full day guided trip so we brought the kids back this year. Although the smoky air from recent wildfires in the area put a damper on the beautiful scenery this time, it didn't stop us from having a great time. We are dog people and enjoyed Pupeye and Curry's company on our trip what with Curry and son Killian entertaining each other with their games of chase. We are so happy we chose Ferron's because of their excellent customer service - they treat you like family (thanks Ferron for the awesome fresh tomatoes!) and Ferron is so highly respected on the river (everyone seems to know him).
Highly recommended.

We had a family gathering of 8 with 1 child under 6. We floated with Ferron what a pleasure it was. He is very knowledgable about the river and of course a great guide. We felt safe and knew that if anything would happen we would be in good hands. The kayaks were a blast most everyone had a turn in either a single or double. They have this down to a science. From first contact to completion of the trip it was easy and everything their website said it would be. Thanks Ferron and Sue!!!!
