There are in fact two however the other falls are quite small depending on the season you visit... the main falls at Dingmans falls are pretty spectacular... there is a nice place to sit and admire with benches, people offer bring sketch books and or camera’s... it’s a wooden boardwalk style trail that is very easy to navigate. Worth an hour or stop

Yes, but in the winter months and even into spring a bit it is closed and you have to walk an extra mile from the main road where there is parking on dirt.

July 2018. Late Winter we had several storms that devastated the trails, walks, steps & parking areas. The NPS expects it will take several years to repair the damage. In the future I will try to put the month & year in the beginning of my comments as I agree with others that it is difficult to tell if a post is current or from previous years.

Yes, this would be a short, easy hike for the kids. The hike is all on a boardwalk, so nobody will get lost. You get to the first waterfall almost right away, so there’s not a long wait before you see something. You don’t have to bother dragging everyone up the steps to the top because you can’t see the falls from there anyway. About the only thing you can do is to wave at the people down below. There isn’t really anything to do other than the hike and - if it’s open - a small visitor center. The visitor center wasn’t open when I was there, so I don’t know how that would be for the kids.

yes. the trail is officially closed for the winter, although no one is physically stopping you from going there, bathroom, however might be locked till spring.
