It's a bit of a drive down a country road to get to it but the drive is pretty and worth it. Neat shop with great gift items and wide variety of candles for candle lovers. Gift candles can be customized - unique look and fun personalized gift.

I have been dealing with House of Candles for over a decade and I've lost count of the many candles I have purchased for weddings, birthdays and anniversaries! The customer service I have received is second to none! The item ships almost immediately! The candles have been both unique and a big hit whenever I have given them! I have six grandchildren ALL of who have their special candles and look forward to lighting them on their birthdays!

We stopped by here on our Honeymoon 25 years ago and got an amazing wedding candle.

This time we came back through the area for our 25th Anniversary and had to stop again. We bought a candle for our 25th. Since we had our wedding candle with us they cleaned it up a little for no fee.

They drill the top of the candle out and sell a light to put down in your candle to allow the design to glow without having to burn it. These lights make the candles look amazing.

Unexpected Gem

We originally dropped in here after breakfast because we had time to kill. I thought it would be in and out for 5 minutes and my husband didn’t even want to come in!! We were so surprised when we walked through the door. Very cool candle sculptures and gift items. We ended up sending a gift across the country which they made the process very quick and easy to do. Watching the hand carving was a treat too.

Would definitely recommend

Went to the house of candles as it was noted as a main attraction.

The process of making a candle was phenomenal. The gentleman took his time to explain each step and answered the groups of kids questions that were there. Really amazing the amount of work abs craftsmanship. Attached is the products we brought and the amazing set up on our table.

Thank you, you have our business for a lifetime when we are in PA

Today we had a rainy day and couldn’t ski so decided to visit after visiting years ago before kids. They had a great time! They were awesome, overly friendly and just a great experience. We watched them make candles and the kids both got their hands in wax!!! Thank you so much to everyone for being so great and having such a wonderful shop to enjoy!!! We will be back!!

Well Worth the Trip!!

I am the first to admit, I am not an arts-and-crafts kind of guy so when skiing got rained out and my family out-voted me on going to watch candles get made, I decided to be a good sport. Let me say, the demonstration was AMAZING! Daniel is a true artisan and I was mesmerized. Well worth the visit. I didn't even object when my family bought out half the store.
