We visited here a few times now and it never fails to offer up something special. The range of gifts is eclectic and interesting, upstairs the art id off a very good standard and the shop overall is well worth a browse around.

ヨークシャーの片田舎なのに、なぜかトレンディなヘブデン・ブリッジ。小さな町だけど、かわいいお店がいっぱい。その中でも、とくにここは、センスいい大人かわいい雑貨であふれている。大量生産品ではない、作家の顔が見えるような品ばかりが吟味されて並んでいる。アートギャラリーのような店だ。

Visited Spirals and didnt even know there was an upstairs?
It is by FAR the best bit! - Homewares, Art, Furniture...! All either fairtrade, british or locally made!
Also amazing, helpful and friendly staff!
A MUST for all people visiting Hebden :-)

I love Spirals. It has a large selection of fair trade products, in fact everything you could possibly need. I am lucky enough to live in Hebden Bridge and this is where I buy almost all my presents. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, offering a gift wrapping option in implement tissue paper which I think lays looks stunning (as it is likely to obtain a 'green' gift.) upstairs there is another treasure trove of ideas, ranging from beautiful soft furnishings to locally made furniture- made from recycled/reclaimed timber. Always worth a browse.

the upstairs is the best bit in my opinion and after visiting for about 6 years, i only recently discovered it! There are loads of hippie cushions, groovy lanterns, carved furniture. If all this is your bag then check it out. Downstairs there are some good things too - clothes, jewellry, afew books, toys.... I love going in just for a browse around. At Christmas they get some unusal stuff in. Staff are helpful and friendly. They have a website if you google it.

I live in Hebden Bridge and regularly visit Spirals for gifts and homewares. Most recently I have bought a gorgeous recycled handmade leather bag for my partner, and have also recently bought some handmade bookcases from recycled local wood. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable about their stock. prices are reasonable and it is inspirational to see such a selection of fairtrade things.
