After a lovely walk around the lake … my partner’s first in 9 weeks since breaking her ankle … we stopped for a coffee.
I ordered her a decaffeinated americano.
On the drive home it became obvious that she had not had a decaffeinated coffee.
She is now lying on the bed with a bad headache, flashing when she closes her eyes and a stomach ache.

Visited the Arrow Valley Country Have a lovely walk around the lake with many trails to choose from all well signposted numbered and colour coded foot footways the Visiter centre is closed at present there are refreshment facilities available in a marque serving lovely coffee and snacks a bank of porta loos are available for use there is an excellent play area for the children there is a sailing club on the lake. The site is well managed giving a pleasurable experience. Well worth visiting free admission

I used to love my Saturdays here as a kid fishing this lake but it all stopped when I discovered females! 40 years later and I'm having a walk around it and wondering how much it would cost to take up fishing again.

It was so fun you know we walked around and stuff . Worth the half an hour it took to drive here plus there was ice creams .

My son and I visited for a walk around the park, it was a freezing cold day but sunny and fairly quiet on site.
The paths were clean but some very sloppy from the frost, no litter and nice views of the water.
The visitor centre has toilets and there is free parking on site

The park itself is great. The kids parks are well equipped and the walk around the lake lovely and suitable for wheelchairs. BUT do not go to the loo. The disabled/baby change is absolutely filthy as is the ladies with only 1 out of 3 working. Believe me you will need
to shower once you've been in these loos. There is a large bin for nappies and ladies products which looks like it haven't been emptied for months, its over flowing. The stars are for the ,the park, couldn't possibly give the amenities a rating at all.

What a fantastic area in Redditch this is. We thought we would go for a picnic somewhere before going to watch Redditch United. This country park has everything from a fairly big lake to walk around with plenty of tables and benches around to a nice park for the kids to play in. Currently spent longer here than we were expecting to which is no way a bad thing. While we were visiting there was also plenty going on in and around the lake.

This is great evidence of how to spend tax payer's money. A beautiful massive lake, excellent facilities for children with many quality and exciting playground things for sliding, swinging and climbing. The grounds are well looked after and extensive with the River Arrow running through with multiple brooks and streams making for an interesting landscape. The visitor centre provided toilets and a good cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and car parking is accessible from both ends of the park. A great day out and safe.

A wonderful way to spend a Sunday. There is many ways to walk, when we went the sailing boats were out. We stopped by the park for a little while and we’re impressed with the size of it and the different things for the different ages. Would come back again and again..

I actually wanted to review Ipsley lake (Google calls it manmade lake. Just south of the main arrow valley country park. Don't follow sat Nav down Ipsley church lane but go to car park old forge drive. Lovely quiet lake, a little polluted at the edge but plenty of wild life. No toilets. Free parking.

Yes. Good circuit around lake with options to extend. Good parking. Ideal for pushchairs

We visited the site today and could not see any Herons which was always the case over the previous years does anyone have any answers to this

the rules have changed relating to feeding the fish, perhaps the herons are failing to find food.

hey,
anyone in local area of arrow valley park, know what bus routs have the nearest stops to the visitor centre??
google says churchhill if you search, but im thinking winyates would be closer, so then I thought id ask people who actually walk there :)

If I walk there, I walk through a footpath at the very bottom of Easemore Road, beginning Dolphin Road, and bear right over the footbridge and keep walking until the signposts start, takes about 15 mins. can also be approached via Arrow Road, taking the road off to the left that goes between the factories, the Arrow Valley Park is at the bottom of here, some people also go the bottom of Beoley Road, cross the bridge at the bottom and continue for a short walk the Park is right ahead of you.
