Totally disappointed with our trip to Summerland Farm. The waterpark is more like a few spouts of water. We had booked for a animal encounter but after waiting for 10 minutes and then wondering up to see if we were in the right place they then informed us it had been cancelled even tho we’d only purchased tickets 45 minutes ago. We were refunded animal encounter costs but that was the main reason we’d gone. The children’s park was good though so at least there was that. I wouldn’t recommend going there for a “fun” place to entertain children.

The service was exceptional and all staff very keen to help. Tge food arri ed quickly and was very well presented and flavoursome. There also was plenty of GF options. Highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast or lunch. We have had our group Christmas Party here for 3 years and will be back.

Dined at the restaurant for lunch, meals were delicious. Staff very helpful and friendly. A must do if you are at Alstonville. The gardens are amazing as well.

Don’t bother, waste of time and money. Advertised as this amazing farm but for $5 per person you get 100m foot path around a kids play area which you can find for free in every town in Australia. The animal encounter consists of 2 donkeys a sheep and a goat and that’s an extra $5 per person. Staff are next to useless and cafe just a joke. Did see what looks like a nice cafe, but no signs to show you where it is. Find a free kids park, pack a picnic and save your $$$$$.

What a disappointment!
The “waterpark” is tiny, the playground is hardly adventurous, and the $5 per person, including kids lasts a mammoth 15 minutes…
Next time we’ll go to The Farm in Byron. At least it’s free entry!

A lot of parking. Double parking spaces perfect with trailer. Small farm, had breakfast while looking at the lamas and cows. Paid 3$ per adult to see 2 donkeys, a few goats, 2 cows and 2 lamas. At least the money helps take care of the animals. Cute playground for kids. I wouldn't really recommend this place for people without kids. Not worth the stop unless you want to have breakfast in a relaxed environment.

Attended a large family function on a Saturday. Restaurant was understaffed for the patron numbers. Guests were waiting at reception on arrival for up to 10 minutes before being welcomed and allocated seating. Young staff were polite, doing their best, with a limited lunch menu on the day.
But the big disappointment was the Macado Salad with Calamari. Roast pumpkin was sitting on a bed of greens in a bowl with just one small thinly sliced piece of avocado. Given the farm grows and packs avocados as an income stream this was disappointing. Just 4 small calamari rings fried with panko batter topping it off. The calamari was tender and tasty just not enough for the $5 surcharge.
Those who ordered the roast of the day got a huge helping of pork and veggies that few could finish. Fantastic you like pork.

Summerland Farm , is great spot to visit .. specially with younger children - due to the children’s playground & petting farm
Both times I’ve visited Summerland Farm .. I’ve enjoyed having brunch at one of the two cafes located on the farm
Also check out the shops , with mostly local produce & products .. as well as the small plant nursery

We ( a friend group) had a good breakfast here last week. Very good value and fresh ingredients. There is an indoors and an outdoors section for eating, a lovely garden area, play area for children and various ‘farm shops’. Well worth a visit.

We had a marvellous meal at the restaurant. Food was very reasonably priced and the serves we're very generous. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The farm shop was stocked full of delicious gourmet food to buy and take home. The kids playground and animals looked like a lot of fun too.

Hello there, like so many in my life group I am travelling with my small dog (16 years old) who suffers from separation anxiety. Does your Cafe have an outdoors area where my husband and I and our always on lead pet can enjoy a lunch?

- Gold coin for water park and play ground which is fully fence and has picnic tables.
- $5 per person for mini golf, we got a five for four deal ($20) on the day we went- putter, ball, scorecard supplied.
- Food was good value - scones $3.50 for one, $5 for two. Vanilla milkshake was $4-ish. Apple pie was $6-ish I think.
