I've been to many of Pennsylvania's state parks and this is one of the least impressive. There is not a lot to see or do but a good place to walk the trails and take in nature.

Beautiful state park with trails for hiking and horseback riding. Schofield Ford covered bridge is located within the park, about 1/4 mile from the parking area.

It was maybe 10 yrs since my last visit but today very enjoyable at the park with a warm snap of 76 degrees, everyone was out enjoying the trees and water views. Enjoyed the walk to various barns and fields with views of the creek. Lovely place to spend time.

Tyler State Park is a beautiful part located in Bucks County. The trails are nice , but there were a lot of trees down on some of the trails, so you have to crouch down to get by. The fall foliage is excellent right now, so bring a camera.

Trying to get in shape for hiking the Camino, I got bored walking aroundd the neighborhood 3x a day. A friend told me about Tyler Park trails and it was so much fun, and peceful that i still enjoy it after my Camino hike.

Enjoyed walking the trails. However, beware that the bathroom facilities have been Out of Order for quite a while and have been replaced with porta potties in the parking lot. The porta potties have no toilet paper in any of them and the toilet is filled to the brim with trash, glass bottles, and tree branches. Been to this park regularly and the bathroom situation is always the same. Doesn't appear that the porta potties get cleaned. Ruins the experience one would have at this otherwise beautiful park.

A beautiful park with lot's of birds and deer. The paths along the Neshaminy Creek are great for photographers. There are bathrooms and pavilions.
You can walk dogs on leash. There is a nice water fall. Nice place for picnics. Also there are play areas for children.

This park is a great place to enjoy nature !!! I have been coming to this park for a long time. They have canoeing, kayaking, fishing, grills for cook outs, picnic areas, bike trails and so many walking and hiking trails. Plenty of trail options with varying difficulty, length and breathtaking views. The nature trail is one of the best trails so far, well hidden and leads up to the creek. The two small water falls are a great location to catch some fish and few moments of calmness. The playground is perfect for young children and open fields for playing sports. There are multiple entrance to the park and the historic covered bridge is a must visit. It’s Frisbee golf course is challenging and fun . It’s both beautiful and large enough for plenty of people to space out.

It has a pretty well known frisbee golf course if you are into that. Canoes,a fire pit, and multiple parking lots spread out all over the place. Good walking and running trails. Biking is tough because of the hills but also difficult for the hardcore rider. A big field right next to a great playground to spread out with your little kids. Lots of grills and picnic tables. It is very pretty with fishing allowed. Many horses and deer to admire. People are friendly and sociable. Even the teens are respectful and keep the noise levels reasonable

In tough times with the virus going around, this place is a hidden gem being so close to home. Lots of hiking/walking trails to get away from it all. It's hard to get lost, but one can have the park map downloaded on the phone. The cell reception is good. If spending 2-3 hours most of the park can be covered. Some of the dirt trails by the creek will get muddy after rain.

Tyler park has free entry, free parking, and its free to bring your dogs too. You can also bring a canoe or kayak with no charge. If you don't have a canoe or kayak, they offer rentals during the summer months.

I have been looking for a detailed map of all the trails at Tyler. I have found a few but several trail names and where they lead to aren't indicated (i.e. Neshaminy Trail, White Pine Trail, Boat House Trail, etc.). Also, does anyone know if there is a business that has horse trail riding opportunities nearby?

Many of the trails loop around so if there is no end point indicated on the map this could be why. There is a horse stable nearby offering trail riding but I have never used them. The name is Frank's Stables and they are located on Swamp Rd in Newtown, PA. I hope this helps!

I do not know about a tree but I do know about a bench . Several have in memory names on them .
