Nice laid back park. Great place for a beginning kayaker . Several easy areas to put in and smooth water to learn on.

Yellow Creek State Park is a hidden gem in PA. Lake was awesome for kayaking. Also rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon excursion. Enjoyed swimming in the lake from off the boat. Cabins were clean. Great view of lake. Awesome find.

Every year my wife and I go up and rent a cottage at Yellow Creek State Park. The scenery is beautiful, The Cottages are cozy, there's fishing, the outdoor fire pits have a built-in grill. It's even nice in cold weather, as they have electric baseboard heat and lights period a few hundred foot walk brings you to a fully-equipped bath house with laundry facilities.

This lake is great for kayaks. Nice fingers to explore. Hiking trails. There are cabins and cute camping nearby. We'll visit again.

Interesting smaller state park with trails, beach, boating and more. Lots of walking around. Bathrooms not outhouses! Nice for fall leaves.

Yellow creek state park is built around a lake along st rt 422. it is a pleasant park to visit, with modern bathroom facilities in the warmer weather. There are no camping facilities in the park, but there are picnic areas, playgrounds, beaches and boating. Many thing to do here if you are in the area. As a plus, with all PA state parks, there is no entry fee.

This is a great place for pictures with the sun setting on the lake etc. As with all parks you can do a variety of many things, hike, fish, boating, just watching the world go by. It's always worth the stop.

Love this park as the rest of the world doesn't seem to know that it exists. They have many programs for both adults and children to take advantage of. A nice beach, boat rentals and many trails to hike. A nice quiet park close to home.

This park has a nice lake for fishing, swimming, & kayaking.... Many hiking trails and mountain biking trails... Just of of Route 422 , east of Indiana, PA. Worth checking out when in the area...

is there a swimming beach? when we were there last year I didn;t find one! We used to go swimming there as kids
