Die Quite Valley Farm ist unserer Meinung nach auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
Mit viel Liebe wird hier das Leben um 1800 auf einer Farm gezeigt. Die verschiedenen Orte wie Wohnhaus, Scheune, Schulhaus und Backhaus werden von begeisterten Leuten veranschaulicht. Die Leute schlüpfen dabei in die Rollen derjenigen die damals auf der Farm gelebt haben.
Uns hat es sehr gefallen und wir können es sehr empfehlen.

We just traveled in time back to the 1800's to enjoy a traditional Christmas. This farm has been in existence since the 1700's and is a must see when you come to the Poconos. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

This was such a wonderful place to visit. There were 9 of us, all ages. We all learned a lot and it’s just a beautiful quiet place, with sweet animals,great staff doing demonstrations, and a cute shop. Highly recommended.

My wife and I visited on Fri 7/23/21 on a beautiful, warm, sunny day and really enjoyed our visit and learned quite a bit. We've been to a number of similar attractions and rate Quiet Valley very highly even though it is small compared to some of the larger living history villages like Landis Farm, Old Bethpage Village or Sturbridge Village. We had a nice ad hoc tour of the garden and were able to touch and smell the herbs. We were able to question Cliff about bees for half an hour and learned quite a bit. We also saw a demo of a tape loom, which we had never seen before, given by a young girl that was wonderful. I can see how tapes were an important item to make. In the cabin we saw a demo of a spinning wool and loom being used to make linsey woolsey. Interestingly, we had recently seen a demo at Landis Farm of processing flax to make linen so this completed the process of turning linen into cloth for us. We took other tours, like the schoolhouse and barn, and enjoyed them all. So we highly recommend a visit to Quiet Valley. The price is reasonable and the people who staff the farm are enthusiastic and made the trip very enjoyable.

We enjoyed a visit to the farm on Memorial Day weekend. Despite the cold and rainy weather, the volunteers had a great attitude, so friendly, and we learned a lot about historical farm life from spinning flax to baby animals to talking with Stan about ice harvesting. I think there are different events throughout the season, so check out the calendar first. We also heard that Christmas is a beautiful time to visit.

Quiet valley is a great place to take your kids to show them how people lived long before they were born.It is especially good on special event days.

Visited the craft fair for the first time and was so happy we did. Was easy to get to and parking was easy. They have a bus to run folks back and forth from the upper lot. Interesting crafts and artist. Was a long time since we've been up to the QVLHF and it was nice to walk the grounds and take in the animals, buildings and school. The teacher at the school was so nice and full of information! Looking forward to going back next year!

It was an average venue. However having no handicapped parking in this day and age is a joke. We had to park and walk and would not recommend for that reason or go back

My husband, my 23 year old niece and myself went to Quiet Valley for Spooky Days. We took a murder mystery tour around the farm. It was fun, not very spooky, nice for someone who wants to celebrate Halloween without doing the traditional haunted houses. There was also a ghost story and "seance" after the murder mystery, which no one on our group of 20+ solved. The group was a little too large and (through no fault of Quiet Valley's) the children in the group were kind of annoying. They would turn the flashlights on in a dark room and blind whoever happened to be looking in their direction. To the parents' credit they did TRY to get them under control and they weren't bad kids just annoying. Also, my group of 3 and another group of 3 20 somethings were trying to truly solve the mystery, but there was a pretty aggressive guy badgering the actors. We could have done without that shenanigans. Overall, I look forward to going again next year.

We went to the Quite valley craft fair and show. Was very intresting on how they make their quilts and weaving and different things.

I would like to know if the staff at the farm can post "Do Not Feed" [Animals] in about 3 languages because we saw someone feed the giraffe and tried to tell them but they either chose to ignore us or did not understand English?

I don't work there or own Quiet Valley....I just go there. It is normally not open until the summer , for the exception of special events. June 20th thru Labor Day and select Saturdays 10am to 4pm. The first Event is the Animal Frolic , which is Memorial Day weekend and the weekend before. Then there is Harvest Fest, and Old Time Christmas. I would check the website so you know exactly when they are open. Also check the visitor centers in Pa for pamplets.
Is this farm open on Thanksgiving Day, and if so, what hours? Thanks
