My second time there - this place never fails to disappoint.
1 - Everything is very expensive but the experience itself is at best blah.
2 - They truly don't give a flip about their customers. They work in volume and individuals don't matter much. There are so many examples of this but I have no strength to write them. Just know that you don't matter.
3 - Their facilities are outdated and often broken.
My first trip was a ski trip. The lodge where everyone had to wait was unbelievably overcrowded with old and broken chairs and table. The bathroom was difficult to find and very dirty. The wait for the ski lifts was insane. Whatever.
My second trip was for the mountain coaster. Purchased many tickets well in advance. Drove more than 2 hours to get there and find that the mountain coaster is closed. The snoot at the window could hardly be bothered to explain that there was a "maintenance issue" and we could receive a refund if we wanted.
Mind you, no explanation was offered and I had to literally ask three times what the issue was and why we were not contacted prior. Her attitude was awful.
When I inquired whether there was some sort of complimentary ticket to one of their other attractions, she curtly responded that we could get a refund. Really? We drove more than 2 hours and all we get is a refund? No consideration for the customer? Unreal.
We asked others who went on the zip line how their experiences were and they reassured us that they are slow and boring and the workers were indifferent.
There is something completely off about a place that truly disdains the customer. It's almost like they want you drop off your money and then get the heck out of there because you're just a nuisance. I later shared this experience with a few friends and their reactions were all the same - "Yes, that's Camelback."
Feel free to go but expect to be disappointed.

We paid $50 each for the two of us for the 4000 zip line. Both of our zips were very slow and we stopped before reaching the end. They had to kind of reel us in to get off. My husband said the wheel mechanism that they have you carry up to zip on was not well oiled and it was probably faulty ball bearings slowing us down. Not worth it at all. It's over in less than a minute.

Camelback is fun but the UTV tour is just driving back and forth on the same trail with the same sights for an hour. However it is fun to drive. If you have long hair I recommend a low pony tail or braids to avoid knots from the helmet. The tour guides are quiet but friendly if you talk to them and super helpful and eager to take photographs for you which was nice.
The mountain coaster was a ton of fun, wished it was a little longer but loved every second. Be weary if you have back problems as it jerks you back and forth, you have full control over how fast you go.
I gave it a 3 because there isn’t much to do or places to hangout in between the adventure activities.

A little pricey for what you get. The 1000' zipline and coaster are both fun, but for $24 and $18 respectively, its not a great value. Then on top of that, they hit you for $12 to park. If you got 2 runs on each, that would be a lot more appropriately priced. Whatever you do, don't get the adrenaline trio. The tubing is a waste of time (way way too short of a run) and for the additional $18 you spend for that, you could use that for another run on one of the other two. Would've love to have tried the 4000' zipline, but it was closed.

I came here for a day of fun with my son and grandson. We got the triple adventure pass and had a great time until it was time to leave--at which point I realized my phone was not in my pocket. We'd been on the Mountain Coaster, the tubes and the 1,000 ft. zipline.
Long story short, we were able to get an idea of where it was through "Find My I-Phone" but it was pretty vague. One of the employees, Emily, (I wish I had gotten her last name!) did everything in her power to find my phone--she looked for it for almost and hour and a half, tromping through the grounds and even getting another employee to drive her out in a Jeep.
Miraculously, she found it! Yay!! I was pretty blown away by her--it was my own dumb fault I lost my phone, the coaster goes pretty quickly and it must've flown right out of my pocket. I feel like most places would have you fill out a form and you'd be stuck hoping someone turned it in. (As my phone was in the wilderness somewhere underneath the mountain coaster, that would've never happened)
For Emily to take over an hour of her time and search so diligently was REALLY nice and definitely above and beyond the call of duty. I just wanted to give Emily a shout out here and tell Camelback Mountain Adventures that they have an excellent employee!!! Thanks so much again, Emily, you saved my life! :)

We loved the 4000 ft zip line. My husband was the most scared but once you take off it isn’t scary at all. It’s just really fun and scenic. My 9 year old wasn’t afraid so we can’t wait to zip line again. The equipment for the ride was heavy for my son so we had to help carry it. Also the backpack can hold small items on the ride down. Try it, it’s not as scary as it seems! The mountain coaster is fun too. We all enjoyed it but the ride is short and if you have back problems it may cause you pain if you go down without braking much.

The ride was completely exhilarating. They take the time to make sure that you’re the proper weight and that there’s not too much wind and, take all safety precautions. They actually kicked me off one time because I was too fat, I lost weight and went back. Yeah man, I’m a rockstar. Awesome awesome awesome. Highly recommend

This review is for the 4000' zipline experience. It was a great family experience for mom, dad, and teen girl to share. Best part (for mom): once you sign in at the basecamp and get buckled into your gear, they bus you to the mountaintop release point, where happy and helpful staff secure you and your harness into the system. No heavy lifting required. Remember to smile for the camera when you get to the bottom.

In 2021 Camelback started charging for anyone parking anywhere on the property. Street side parking and unsecured lots. Would rather they charge more for the ride than a money grab to park on the side of the road. No gates to enter parking lot-- just a random man approaches you at your vehicle and asks for payment. So odd and a bit bizarre.

What an amazing place for the family. For both young and teen kids. The Guest Staff is really helpful (when technology didn’t work for accessing passes). Friendly staffers like Patrin and Valerie (Aqua Park) and Philippe (ski mountain) were awesome help. I recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a variety of fun options. Two days of riding/skiing then aqua park then back on slopes … the best of both worlds.

Should I reserve in advance for the mountain coaster of I'm planning to go on a weekday at around 11/11:30?

I think you’ll be fine. I went the last week in June on Monday & got my tickets right there for the zip line and mountain coaster with no problem. Maybe call ahead and check in with them to make sure they’re not expecting a summer camp trip or if they think it’s a big vacation week for them. Have fun.

I am going on Monday to the treetop adventure. Did I read correctly that they sell gloves at the park? I couldn’t find any information on the website about that so was going to buy a pair prior to going.

Yes they solve gloves for 3 dollars a pair. I used them and would recommend them.

You're probably better contacting the Resort for that answer. I do know snow tubing is available and the indoor waterpark, Aquatopia is open through the winter.

I saw that you can book the zip flyer ahead of time online, so I did. Is there any online option to book the Appalachian coaster or the pipeline slide? I couldn't find it online?

Is the new Pipeline slide open yet? I'm interested but afraid of heights and can't bring myself to go on a chair lift ride. Is there another option to go to the start of the ride? A trail to walk up the mountain or a shuttle,etc?

Hello! The Pocono Pipeline slide is not open yet. Unfortunately, at this time, there is no other way to get up to the top other than to take the lift for safety reasons!
