There is a parking lot within walking distance & some street parking nearby. I've been going to shows here for over 40 years & have never felt uncomfortable walking to it from the parking area. There used to be a parking garage a couple blocks away. Haven't used it in quite a while. not sure it's still there. It was called Park 'N' Lock.

I remember that you can buy beverages. I don't really recall food. We ate at Rodano's prior to our show. My suggestion if you want dinner prior to the show, go early!! Our show was at 8 p.m. so we got to the restaurant at 5:30. By 6:15, there was no available seating. It filled up quick. I would imagine that applies to the other local restaurants as well.

We frequent the Kirby and have never felt threatened.(we are seniors too) This area is populated during an event. As the above reviews said, the police station is a block away, parking is close, as well as several restaurants, in the immediate area. There is a hotel within walking distance. Go and enjoy the show!

I always try for the tickets in the side aisles, but there are no bad seats in the house unless you are way in the back by the soundbiard
