I loved it the first time I visited in August and made second trip back with my husband a month later before the Lighthouse Museum closed for the season. The best lighthouse museum I have been too by far. The docents are friendly and informative, as are the exhibits. The park is an absolutely gorgeous spot for sitting, walking or picnicking.

This is such a beautiful place to walk around. We like to climb down the cliffs and explore the tide pools. The aquarium is small but cute. The view takes my breath away every time.

What a great free park to sit & stay awhile. So picturesque, you just want to bring your blanket or chairs to just sit & take in the water, watch the boats & the locals fish. Of course you have the working light house to check out… (can’t go up only on special dates) but still fun to see the house & learn about the history. There is free parking spread out, it can get busy with car’s coming & going at all different times. There are Bathrooms… 4-5 composting pit toilets… very clean when I went in.

We had a good time walking around and taking in the breathtaking views. The lighthouse was neat to see since it had a square base instead of the traditional round structure. We didn't go inside, but the grounds were very neat.

Amazing views from various locations. This area was great, went with my teenager, 8-year-old and wife everything was picture perfect. Rocks are easy to climb and descend so we were able to view different formations. Considering the bathrooms were just outhouses they were surprisingly clean. We loved the fact we could sit on the grass and relax/picnic or explore the cliffs. This area has something for everyone, and nobody will be disappointed. First time going but we will definitely be returning.

Beautiful views, and very accessible area to the lighthouse. There are trails around the area, but just pull up a rock and sit for a while. Take a book, sunscreen, and enjoy such a beautiful spot!

Lovely area to walk and admire the lighthouse and rugged shoreline. Well marked signage with the history of the lighthouse and surrounding area.

Paths were nice, perhaps could be better marked. But the walk/scramble along the rocks was wonderful - beautiful scenery, and the occasional thrill of watching watching one a fish being caught.

Beaverton lighthouse is quite a nice place. The lighthouse itself is very well preserved, though not the tallest. The location is outstanding, and when it is open to climb the views from the top are very nice as well. Make sure to check in advance the hours of the museum and gift shop, as well as the hours that the tower is open to climb. A five dollar donation is sought for climbers of the tower. You will feel like you are in Maine enjoying the rocky coast. Sunset is beautiful here.
