Hi. Thank you so much for your interest in Escape in 60. Our rooms are about the size of an average-sized bedroom and participants are able to step out at any time if they desire. We have had many people escape with us before who have expressed they that are claustrophobic. The vast majority of these customers have felt completely comfortable in the room once the game begins. Our Prison Room & our Pirate Room are not scary and are family-friendly. Our Ransom Room is a bit creepy and I would not recommend it for younger kids.

My apologies for the delay, only one room is too scary for children in my opinion.

I find it's best to have a group of 4-6 people. Any more than 6 just causes confusion because you can't keep up with who is looking for and finding clues. Usually, the Escape company will try to pair you with another group, which is what we did in Chattanooga. It's not awkward at all not knowing the other people because, once you're in the room, you're all working together to solve the clues.
