We had a great experience during the actual walking safari tour and interaction with animals ...well done and well organized ! The reason for the three star rating is because the safar tour is 5 stay and the additional photo session is 1 star ( or 0 , if zero was an option ) I could not believe that for a photo session we signed up for with our 10 yr granddaughter that we were forced to either pay ANOTHER $100 for a grandparent to go back ( even tho we wanted no photos for the grandparent) ....or, send her into the compound and back tot he photo session ALONE !!! Given the reputation of the tiger king on recent documentaries....I would think you would do everything you can to NOT force 10 year old girls to be unaccompanied .

It was amazing. You can tell they really love their jobs and the animals. They fed us all day so we were never hungry or thirsty. All 3 encounters were very different.

What an amazing, once in a lifetime adventure!! The facilities, staff, food, etc. were all planned out perfectly. The precious animals were happy and healthy, and so amazing to experience. Highly recommend!

Depuis 7 ans, je fais parcourir le Monde à ma fille, pour mon plus grand plaisir et surtout le sien, lui faire découvrir des cultures, des paysages, des sites, mais aussi des êtres fabuleux !
Depuis la pandémie de 2020, j'avais découvert sur Instagram l'endroit. Il nous a fallu donc plus de 2 ans pour que ce rêve s'accomplisse !
J'ai rêvé l'endroit mais j'ai été complètement séduit, retourné et transporté par cette journée !
Mon rève ultime était de pouvoir rencontrer un éléphant d'Afrique.
Pourquoi aller sur le plus vieux continent du Monde alors que j'ai pu réaliser mon rêve aux USA.
Bubbles ! Une éléphante sauvée des braconniers, et chérie par ses soigneurs et "humains.
Je ne veux pas dominer, monter, forcer toutes ces rencontres animales ! Je veux juste partager quelques secondes avec eux !
J'ai été comblé avec Bubbles.
Mais ce ne sont pas les seules rencontres que vous ferez si vous avez la chance de participer à cette aventure. Que ce soit par ce fabuleux Ligre, cet ultime guépard, ces tigres, loups, chimpanzés, capucins, Aigles, et tant d'autres, on n e peut qu'être transportés !
La cerise sur le gâteau, nos accompagnateurs et soigneurs. On les voit, amoureux de leur famille. Tellement aux petits soins qu'on pourrait penser être relegués au second plan, mais ils nous font partager leur passion, leur vie !
Merci à eux et à tous nos hôtes à 2 et 4 pattes !
C'est une expérience qui vous marquera toute votre vie !
J'attends juste d'avoir assez d'argent pour aller me baigner dans le lac avec Bubbles !

I was concerned it wouldn’t be worth the cost… but it was a once in a lifetime experience. Worth every penny! I am so glad we did it.

We did the night safari with the the photo package! You learn & interact with animals . It's priceless adventure! I loved it all, of course the hands on experience the very best! Beyond awesome and worth every penny.
All the staff is friendly, fun, informative & so passionate about the animals, This is definitely an experience of a lifetime! I'm definitely am going back to do the day safari.

I loved it all, of course the hands on experience was everything . The staff there are amazing, they have the best personalities, and are very upbeat. You can tell everyone there genuinely cares about the animals. I am definitely looking forward to going again!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience! Interacting with these animals and learning about their species was truly unforgettable. We met Bubbles, the Cheetah brothers, baby lions, panthers, and Chimps I could swear are smarter than the average human. Oh, and I can't forget to mention LIGERS!?! Yes, they are real and it is mind-blowing to see them in person. Just so many rare species - up close and personal. You'll never forget meeting these animals.
The Trainers and Staff were amazing as well. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. The bond they had with all the animals was clear. The dedication they put into saving these endangered creatures and spreading the word is so admirable. I loved every second of the Myrtle Beach Safari and certainly will be back again! We did both the Day and Night Tour and recommend both. They were different and both equally magically. :)

The amazing staff is so passionate and informative!
This is definitely an experience of a lifetime! Being able to safely interact with a multitude of different wild animals such as tigers, wolves, chimps, and an elephant was just beyond words! It was very moving!!❤️

The minimum age for the day Safari is six years old but all ages are welcome on the night Safari and preservation station. All participants regardless of age are required to pay an admission fee.
Hi! I am trying to decide between purchasing the Photo Experience package for $200, or going for the 3-hour day safari tour. I’m most looking for adorable pictures cuddling baby tigers, but am unsure if that would be possible with just the photo experience as it says it’s only 10 minutes. Not sure if I should splurge or keep it simple. Just want to get the best pictures and experience without feeling rushed! Any suggestions would be great.

We did both. The day safari offers so many opportunities to interact with animals and you can purchase a picture package that gives you dozens of photos of you with all of them. We appreciated the Photo Experience as well, as it was more intimate and gave you more time with the tiger one on one. Next time I have a chance to go back, I will do the day safari, the night safari, and the photo experience all three!!!

Will you please release Bubbles to an elephant sanctuary? She has certainly paid her dues and has not been around other elephants for like 40 years. This is total animal cruelty and torture on her!
How does a human hand come into contact with the animals there? are they being abused? Because I'm interested in whether to go there

Wild Encounters Day Tour. We went on a Saturday and there was a large group. It cost us just over $3,000 for four of us and the cost included the picture package. I would definitely order the picture package when you book your tour. I don't know if the cost might have been less if we went on a different day of the week ~ Saturday was our only option. I would do it again whatever the cost, as long as I could afford it. Be sure to book on a day you KNOW you can go, because there are no refunds. WONDERFUL experience!!!!

Hi, me and my family are wanting to go here and get to experience this wonderful tour. We want to do the day tour but i’m not sure if the photo package is one photo or a couple photos and if each photo is ordered separately. And i think you get the photos printed out at the end and you get to pick your photo/s? correct me if i’m wrong.
You get a photo album worth of pics!!! I’m not sure if they offered only one photo, but GO FOR THE PACKAGE DEAL!!! Ours were fantastic. You ABSOLUTELY CANNOT TAKE A CAMERA or PHONE!! They will kick your entire party out and they’ve seen every trick in the book of people trying!! After going thru the safari, it’s so understandable why they don’t allow cameras or phones!!
Our day at the safari was incredible with lots of surprises and yummy snacks and drinks along the way!!
I will definitely go back with lots of family and friends!!

You can, but it is cheaper to add before. They tell you at the beginning of the tour that add now or later, but costs more because they have to manually do things that is set up automatically up front. The photos are well worth it.

You don't really get to hold them. You do get pictures with them but you don't really hold them. Its just enough time for the picture to be taken and you get to pet them briefly. The day tour is better for that because they let them roam around and you can play a little more with them. Still isn't enough time I don't think.
