This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. This is a small town style of restaurant. The food was pretty basic and not that good. I had a seafood platter that seemed to be fresh out of the box.

Stopped in after a day of pheasant hunting. Thought the steaks were good and the salad bar hit the spot. Would eat here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for simple American fare.

The staff were kind, but the food was just okay. If I had to do it again, I probably would have just eaten at the McDonalds.

Don't order the salmon steak. Have never had one that tasted that bad. Baked potato was just okay. Husband ordered stuffed shrimp and said the only flavor was the breading. Such a waste of good money. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was awful. Salad bar was the best part of the meal. Won't be back.

Came here after day 1 on the water. This place graciously cooks your catch and gives you salad bar and potato for $10. Can't beat the price. And they put a picture of your days catch in their hall of fame in their entryway to boot.
Salad was cold, crisp and had great accompaniments including peppers, cheese, macaronu salad and a reallt thick, tasty bleu cheese dressing.
The breading on the walleye was very light and not overbearing. And the cold leftover fish we didn't finish was delicious for lunch out in the boat today.
We're heading back tonight for more of the same.

The filet mignon was a disaster, ordered very rare and served medium to well with bacon around that you buy in the frozen food section of a supermarket. The sirloin strip was Ok but just OK. The wine was a disaster and before ordering a taster was requested but the waitress thought the request absurd,. Poor quality and surly service.

This was really just a bar with some tables in it. The people were nice and the food was average. I do have to say that the breaded mushrooms were really bad.... I wouldn't order those.
