The Native American Educational and Cultural Center is kind of hidden past the Mountain Carving Gallery on the Crazy Horse Memorial campus. I highly recommend making your way back there. It is a wonder part of the overall memorial. An upper level includes a collection of Native art and other exhibits. There is a docent to answer questions. The lower level has an interesting collection of photographs of Native Americans and a huge wall dedicated to the Exhibit of the American Bison. It is all very interesting. I highly recommend a visit.

really enjoyed touring the museum which is full of native american artifacts and stories. also includes the home of the sculptor and his family.

This place is part of the Crazy Horse Memorial area and is included with admission for the memorial. This is definitely not worth your time or money for admission. The place is over priced, offers very little interest, is mainly about the artist and his family and sadly not about Native Americans or Crazy Horse. The absolute highlight of the center, if you will, is the movie that describes how the memorial began. I felt the center had an incredible opportunity to educate people about Crazy Horse and the Lakota but it completely missed the mark.

great history told about the black hills by the native americans while watching indian dances the history told about the black hills is a real eye opener!

The building is very nicely made with displays and artifacts. A good way to support and fund the finishing of Crazy Horse.

While part of the Crazy Horse complex, this place could certainly stand on its own. The Native American art & history preserved here was awe-inspiring. Be sure to watch the movie!

You pay one fee for entering Crazy Horse Monument (think of it as a parking fee). There's an extra fee for a bus ride to the BASE of the monument under construction, but great views from the deck.
