This is a rather nice old church. It amazes me the size of some of the old churches. This is a nice one. I bet it took a lot to build back then.

It was too late to go inside; but the outside is so beautiful! We saw it from Falls Park and sought to find it. We took pictures from the outside and drove around just enjoying the area.

Stunning! The marble columns, pink and gold details, beautiful carvings, stunning altar, stained glass windows and the 3D stations of the cross were just a few of the awe-inspiring details. Regardless of your religious affiliation, this place is a masterpiece to behold. We arrived just as they opened on a Tuesday morning in June 2021, and entered through the primary front doors. After viewing the inside, there is a small peaceful prayer garden on the south side (facing the church, it’s on your left), and a large statue of Jesus just behind the church (up the hill from the garden area). Be sure to check their website for their schedule, if you’re wanting to just visit for the beauty and not take part in Mass.

We visited the Cathedral on our way to the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore. The Cathedral is stunning. Absolutely beautiful inside, I’m at a loss for words to describe it. It reminds one of some of the great churches we saw along a Rhine river cruise. It’s a must see.

The church is closed when we came here, so we can only tour the outside of the church, but the exterior is gorgeous, it's beautiful no matter you view from which direction, esp. when the weather is good, the sky is clear.There is also a Mothers garden nearby, also worth to take a look, It's to honor the mothers as well as Jesus's mom. The only disappointed thing is that we can't enter to take a look to the interior of the church. Hope can have chance to see the inside next time when we pass by.

If you love beautiful Catholic Cathedrals, this is a must if you are in Sioux Falls. The interior is every bit as beautiful as many of the great cathedrals of Europe we have visited. We were fortunately to get there as noon mass was beginning. Congregation members were very friendly.

My family and I travel to the Czech Republic every year to see cathedrals and you don't see many of those here in the US! This cathedral is a must-see! The architecture is very modern-looking and very clean. We did not attend a mass here, but we did tour the inside. You definitely want to see it!
