I RECOMMEND YOU TO DO THIS BREAK..
This was a very pleasant surprise on my trip from Memphis to Nashville. The museum is very small, but gives very good information on Tina Turner and the her life at this very small (one-room) school - shoving some dresses and som video recording of families and friends. The school is relocated from Nutbush and brogut back to the original look - from actually being used at a barn building for some years.
Next door is the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center - where they have displays of different topics - like on cotton farming and on local music (- I found the latter very interesting)
The people at the center are very nice and loves a chat.
Nice break on the ride - and you can spent from 30 minutes to 1 hour without having to hurry - I RECOMMEND YOU TO DO THIS BREAK.

Cozy experience of Tina Turner’s life.
The schoolhouse exhibit brought back memories for my mom. The museum should be on your bucket list if you are a true fan of Tina Turner. It shows a lot of history.

Not a huge Tina Turner fan but did like her music while I was in high school. It’s a nice stop if you want to get out and stretch. There are some other museums also, Tina’s is just a part of it. It’s clean and the staff are extra friendly. It’s also free but so leave a donation in the box please. It did make me think of how much she accomplished in her life. She wasn’t born into wealth and earned it.

The Tina Turner museum is very well done. There are many very interesting exhibits as well as the school house. We were pleasantly surprised!

Apart from the Tina Turner museum there are 3 other museums about cotton, wildlife and history. Free coffee, smart building and lovely helpful staff. Great place to break the drive and stretch your legs.

We got to see the Tina Turner museum located in the school she went to, also the last home of “sleepy” John Ester and an exhibition dedicated to Tennessee music, Cotten and Hatcher River. I found it very interesting.

Great impromptu stop after a meeting. Enjoyed the museum. Staff was wonderful. There’s more than just Tina Turna to see and learn about.

The house of Sleepy John Estes and the schoolhouse that houses the Tina Turner museum are great buildings/museums to tour while visiting the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center.

The Tina Turner Museum @ Flagg Grove school was a good view into the school she attended and how one could live back in the day.
While there, there was a large bird talk with live animals for all to see. There were owls, red tail hawks, and an bald eagle. There an exhibit info on the wildlife of the area, major and minor folks who are famous in making music, like Koko Taylor and Karl Perkins.
The museum was very clean, with cordial and knowledgeable attendants, plenty of brochures of the area and the state surrounding. It was a wonderful hours drive from Memphis to see the Queen of Rock n Roll and some Tennessee history.

Yes. It's a green sign and if I remember correctly about 4 miles from Brownsville where her museum school has found its new home. it's on Tina Turner highway. It was a great feeling standing next to it as we were taking our memorable photos to return back home to the UK. I will try to upload one here.
