We stopped at the Mast General Store in Knoxville, TN when we were in the Knoxville area and it is an old fashioned type of store. We enjoyed looking around the store and found a few bargains. We have heard of this store in the past and decided we should check it out. We enjoyed our time in the store and around the downtown Knoxville area.

Best Store in Downtown!

This is absolutely one of the best stores in Knoxville! If you're looking for a nice gift from the area or eclectic items, this is a great place to look. They have plenty of knick-knacks from the area, and loads of local goods from food to home items. They also have a great selection of clothes especially if you like more rustic fashion. They have many of the brand name items including Colombia, Patagonia, and such but their own brand is pretty nice for many things too. If you're needing a new set of quality boots or shoes, this is definitely the best place to go, and they have a wealth of hiking, camping, and outdoor supplies as well. If you are looking to expand your cast iron collection they're good about keeping a lot of the Lodge cookware in stock and have a pretty decent kitchen section with several specific items including Fiesta Ware. This is also a dog-friendly store so even if you're strolling on Gay with your pooch be sure to stop in and check out this awesome store.

A store that has much to choose from

As you walk in, you are greeted with a bright and specious shopping experience! Ladies clothing and accessories, Men's and children's clothing, gifts, outdoor apparel area, and best of all, a candy shop! There are little green buckets that you gather your candy choices--including moon pies--to be bought by the pound. Many selections available, including some that I didn't even know they made anymore! I bought a few old time favorites!

What a store!

Unfortunately we got there with only 20 minutes to shop. This store has everything!. We looked at t-shirts, magnets, food, snacks, jewlery . They have it all. This is a store that you need time to browse in. Staff was very helpful and pleasant..

Very nice store with some unique gifts

Really unique store with some good gifts. Local T-shirts/sweatshirts printed in Knoxville. Also downstairs is outfitter clothing reasonably priced with very friendly and helpful sales people. Also if you want postcards they have postcards.

Didn’t disappoint!

We’ve been to the location in Asheville a couple times & wanted to visit this location closer to our home in Chattanooga, TN. This location didn’t disappoint! Same great items for sale, including great sales on name brand outdoor wear. We, of course, bought some of their old-time candy! Pictured is my new scarf with Bigfoot just because it was unique & on sale. We’ll visit again.

First, a huge round of thanks to the welcome center greeter for pointing us in the direction of Mast General Store when we asked about pet friendly places to go in Knoxville. Kudos.

Mast's is an enormous store that is brimming with nostalgia! It has just about anything you may be looking to pick up when traveling, including some unique gifts. The staff is very friendly and we were particularly impressed with the way pets are welcomed and allowed access throughout the store. We picked up all of our travel gifts for family and friends back home in this one store.

Tip: the restrooms at Mast's are clean and spacious. A good option when in need of a pitstop.

Love this store! It's the best for browsing. On this trip, I discovered Mint flavored Moon Pies (eeek) and got my youngest a pair of Crocs. There's always something on deep discount and friendly staff.

An Amazing Store

This was out first visit to Mast and we will definitely be going back. A beautiful large store filled with everything you can imagine. Retro toys and games, gorgeous clothing, barrels of candy, Lodge cast iron, dishware, and so much more. It was unbelievable. So much fun to browse. Friendly folks and Great prices too. Cant wait to go back!

After indulging in a great sundae, we walked around the Mast General Store. What a blast from the past. Many retro board games and toys, plus barrels and barrels of old fashioned candies. A little bit of everything! Downstairs is a complete outfitters dream.
