Sarah and her family were incredible! Perfect scenery and horses. The trail had beautiful views and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend to anyone in the area traveling.

We absolutely loved riding at Castlefergus Equestrian. We had beautiful weather for our two days of riding and after so much rain, the fields were a gorgeous green. The horses were lovely to ride and we all felt comfortable with our mounts. They were extremely trustworthy and surefooted. Sarah led us through the most picturesque woods and lanes and fields; I would highly recommend this riding stable, and we hope to return again in the future!

We had the absolute best time riding at Castlefergus Stables! My friends and I went the day before my wedding at Dromoland Castle - all having ridden together on our Equestrian team in college, some of us riding more often than others nowadays - and were given horses to match our various skill levels and even got to canter together in the fields. It was truly a dream and such a special part of our trip. We felt safe the entire time and will never forget the experience. Cannot recommend them enough!

Both Mongo and Bluey were such well behaved gentlemen! We had a wonderful ride through the beautiful countryside lead by our wonderful guide Aida. Highly recommend this ride for all riding levels. The fairy forest and sheep pastures were just beautiful and Aida was full of knowledge and wonderful conversation.

Sarah and Aida were fantastic, very helpful and kind. They made the experience very easy and comfortable. We were a little disappointed that the other couple was late and delayed our riding time.

Pretty cool experience. The GF wanted to ride horses in Ireland and this was my first time riding. riding past the castle and though the sheep fields was nice. Took about and hour and cost was 150 Euro, so a bit pricey. However, it was a nice relaxing outdoor activity and the family that runs it is extremely nice and made us feel very safe and comfortable. They came along to help guide the horses and chatted with us along the way

We had an amazing time exploring the lush, scenic grounds with Aida and her family. It was so relaxing to get away from city to enjoy some horse riding. We would highly recommend going again.

What an absolutely enchanting trail ride! My husband and I went this past week and had such a great time. Ada and Morgan were the perfect hosts, greeted us and got us ready and then we had the pleasure of taking the tour with Morgan who was an amazing companion. It was a lovely trail through the woods and through meadows, with Morgan providing tips and info about the lay of the land. You can tell how much they appreciate and care for their beautiful horses and grounds. I highly recommend putting this on the itinerary!

Wonderful family run farm situated on 100 beautiful acres. Our hotel booked a one hour trail ride. We are very much beginner riders and our horses (Blue and Graham) were gentle. The owner Aida and her daughter Sarah walked along with our party if 3 (ourselves and one other rider) through a woodsy verdant forest, through sheep pastures, over stone bridges, alongside Ballyhannon Castle and back to the stables. Highly recommend! Thank you Aida and Sarah!

Absolutely lovely.
We had a wonderful time, beautiful property and well trained horses. Aida and Morgan took extra care to make the dream ride perfect.

I don't know if private riding lessons are charged differently then trail rides. We did a trail ride. Contact them and they will likely respond quickly.
