Beautiful place to walk if the weather is good. The sand is good to walk on and there is little or no seaweed to impede your progress. Highly recommended.

A bit off the beaten track, but can still get extremely busy, this is another beautiful beach, and the drive there is gorgeous too.

The most beautiful beach in Ireland . I have visited beaches in the Caribbean and Bahamas and this beach seriously impressed me .
The only negative - jellyfish in the otherwise perfect water but this seems to be an issue everywhere .

We visited this beach in late August. Definitely worth visiting! It's a stunning beach. Our kids and dog loved it

plage incroyable à ne rater sous aucun pretexte, les couleurs sont magnifiques, se balade sur la lande et voir les deux côtes c'est superbe (par contre, pas de chien...:))

Der Strand ist einfach wunderbar. Karibik in Irland. Wasser ist klar, aber halt typisch Irland frisch. Dünen und Umgebung sprechen für sich. Sehr gut für Kinder geeignet.

Magnifique plage de sable blanc fin. L'eau est turquoise, l'endroit magnifique. Possibilité de poursuivre la promenade sur les rochers qui donnent dans le fond de la plage et de faire le tour en revenant par l'autre plage contiguë. La baignade a été possible à cet endroit pour le moins frileux d'entre nous. Un endroit absolument paradisiaque à ne pas rater.

Spiaggia molto bella, vicina al paesino di Roundstone (consigliata una visita).
Noi l'abbiamo vista in un pomeriggio di sole (la mattina diluviava) e ne è valsa la pena.
Difficilmente farete il bagno o vi metterete a prendere il sole, quando ci siamo stati noi tirava un vento incredibile, ma non si sa mai.
Se il tempo non è orribile passateci perché merita.
Dalla strada principale si imbocca una stradina a doppio senso, ma stretta, che poi termina ad un parcheggio relativamente ampio.
Noi l'abbiamo vista in un pomeriggio di sole (la mattina diluviava) e ne è valsa la pena.

We took a day trip out here and it was beyond beautiful. It was the most beautiful beach we saw in Ireland by far. And little beach cows all around too!!

I have coming here all my life and it is just a gorgeous beach. White sand and few people and a beautiful walk to do around the headland. A must visit.

There may be coach trips to bring you close to Dogs Bay. The road down to it is narrow but will suit a car or bike. Did not see any public transport whilst there.

There are lots of B&B's. I don't know about hotel, probably, but I would advise a B&B if you want to meet locals.Or there are plenty of self-catering rental cottages, which are great if you're staying a few days.

We brought our dog in July, and didn't see any signs that dogs weren't allowed.
