Amazing Santa Experience

Had an amazing time yesterday at Tayto Park for The Christmas Experience. My boys are 2 and 3 and I wasn't sure what to expect or how they'd react. The whole experience was laid out so well and the elfs were so engaging with the kids. Usually my 3 year old is stuck to us but he was running ahead with the other kids not even looking back to see where we were 😂 Santa was fab, although the boys were a bit star struck by him! Food in the park was great and we got a walk around the animals and on the age suitable rides in the junior zone. We we're there almost 5 hours and kept going the whole time, so it was great value. The little touches like the reindeer food and the candy canes really made it. Have to say all the staff we encountered were brilliant. We were in Dublin for a couple of days and this was definitely the highlight of our trip, can't wait to bring them back in the new year and hopefully make Santa a Christmas tradition.

Santa Experience is terrible, too cluttered and you can hear what is going on in the rooms beside you as the groups before and after you are progressing through the 'experience'. Got to Santa and was told that their camera wasn't working so no family photo for 2021. Not good at all. Emailed their customer support via their website and they don't even acknowledge you.

It's seems the customer service is still as an issue with management as it was in June 2018.

The seasonal pass isn't administrated with any understanding of disability.

I tried to buy my son who serverly autistic one . However there was no understanding he needs two carers to go round the park being visually impaired and non verbal too.

He spends all day on the train that it we go at least 6 times a year however I can't always grantee what staff can go it change the staff just couldn't care less...

My email wasn't answered .in fact returning calls or having answering machine that doesn't cut you off after 3 seconds would be great too!

I must say is expensive and frankly boring compared to likes of alton towers of other theme parks Rarely changes not always for better . I'd would avoid the mobile catering van with the sausage you will end up visiting the facilities and even sick ...and they don't wear any usual protection for hygiene...furthermore charged my 5 euro for one chopped up sausage.

There some good staff but on the whole is not value for money kid friendly or welcoming rather expensive for what it is a park with few rides ...there more enjoyment to be had at travelling fairs.

If they didn't have the train which is so dull would be better servicing the whole park than the 2 minuet track its on now ...it would be place visited once to say been.
frankly the swords shopping centre trains more thrilling.i should know after 58 consecutive rides on it per trip!

Furthermore I would say the attitude to safety needs work too heard fire alarming going off likly it was one of the autistic kids I was with.. the staff just ignored it ...even when I explained they said they don't take any notice of them it was left going for over 30 minutes no fire safety protocol being followed at all!

Need to work on staff training in customer service the law and regulations in law ...tato park policy isn't the law. In october some snotty nosed teenage and manger tell me... I was amused since they clearly do not know the law and or fact barrister would know more about such than them especially if they happen to e founder of equality executive which I am!

I also must point out the teenager clamed to be law student at trinity college which I found interesting since lesson one on the first day consist of making it clear only a barrister and solicitors can give legal advice yet this person was dictating to me! You manager didn't stop this person carrying on even when it was made clear I am legal professional so I left my email was not answered so took the liberty of contacting the college to discover it wasn't the first complaint they had after investigation they found no student to be working at tato park studying law!!!

In short the discrimination this year has been outrageous!

A+++ to Tayto for customer service experience and most definitely will be spending money there in the near future. Thank you.

We had booked to attend the santa experience at Tayto park upcoming for early December back in early September understanding the terms including non refundable tickets and that alternative dates to reschedule would be dependent on availability.

Unfortunately one of our children has been confirmed Covid positive and therefore we are unable as a family to attend on our chosen date. On learning the news I contacted Tayto outlining the circumstances and if it was possible to reschedule. Less than 24 hours later I had a reply which not only informed me of the process to reschedule and that currently there was no availability for future dates but that I could to check during the week but however if I would like to request a refund that it should be requested at minimum 48 hours of booking date. I responded that given the information a refund request may be optimal and how to proceed. Less than 24 hours later I received confirmation that the refund was complete.

Loved a lot down here.

The Cuchulainn coaster is phenomenal to go on. Worth the 15mins que time we spent.

Kids loved the whole park and plenty to go on and see. Little disappointed at the que system for some attractions where people can skip the que with pieces of paper. When its one or two i dont mind but when your waiting 2hours in a que and someone can just skip it then i dont agree with this.

Overall a good day but the system for attractions needs to be worked on to make queing fair for all.

Very poor value for a family day out

Visited during the October mid-term, and while we had visited before I have never experienced queues like it. The amount of people allowed into the park was a joke. We queued for almost an hour for the flight school and most other less popular rides were about 40 minutes, To finish the day off they closed the Viking splash at 3:30 due to the number of people in the queue!!! It was laughable...I think in total we only managed about 4 rides, which makes it a very expensive day out... The rides themselves are good and the staff in general are very friendly, but a very disappointing day means we won't be back.

Queues are a joke, far too many people

First time visiting. Now, I know it was half term and we expected it to be busy but the number of people admitted was ridiculous. We were there from 10.30 until 5.15pm and only got on 4 rides. How is a 2 hour wait acceptable? Admit fewer people who might get on more rides and have a better overall experience. We didn't manage to see much else as spent so long in queues. I can't speak for people who might have younger children as I didn't see what the wait times were like for those areas.
Also, lots of things not open which wasn't mentioned on the website . And why do the food places close 2hrs before the park does?
Was really looking forward to going but definitely wouldn't return unless the queuing issues are sorted out.

Queues, queues and more queues.

The park has great potential with some good rides, but queue times are horrendous. As mentioned by others - €210 for a family of six and only got on a couple of rides. Queue jumping is rife and Fast Pass ticket holders just keep the queues holding for longer. Will be a long time before we go back.

Do not go this Mid term break. Absolute joke. Queries 1-1/2 2 hours. Half stuff not open even though on website it says they are. Thankfully our kids a little older . Disaster of a day.

Great day out, lots to do. Lodge restaurant surprising good value and chicken curry was a def favourite. The halloween event was excellent for young kids. Enought to keep the family entertained for the whole day
