Hello Judy As a couple you are very welcome to join in with the daily guided walk of St Peter Port as part of a group, there is no booking required so you may be the only ones on the walk. If you wish to have a private tour you can send an email to the town walks and a guide may be available to do a private tour for you. Some of the town walks are on flatter areas but some are hilly it depends on the route the guide is taking, there are 20 accredited guides doing the town walks. Hope this is of some help. I would advice getting tickets, its a great way to see St Peter Port and I would agree with the 15 minutes comment. The weather should be good too. Its a good walk but not too far. It took about an hour and a half, somthing like that. Perfect to work up an appetite.

The Town Walks are daily from 1st April to 31st October. 10.30am daily (also on a Tuesday and Thursday 2.30pm) £8 pp- booking not required. Walks lasts approx. 1.5 hours Meet at the Guernsey Information Centre. For cruise ship passenger It is a 5 minute stroll from the Albert Pier where the tender drops you off. Get the tender early to avoid peak times or delays. Come rain or shine the walk will be on.

Bonjour, nous avons beaucoup de français qui visite Guernesey. Certains ne parlent pas beaucoup d’anglais. Nous avons des guides qui parlent français. Ce n’est pas nécessaire de louer une voiture si vous ne voulez pas conduire à gauche. C’est possible de visiter l’île par bus. Chaque trajet coute £1 par personne. Si vous aimez marcher il y a énormément de belles promenades à faire. La capitale de St Pierre Port et aussi très jolie et intéressante. Malheureusement la maison de Victor Hugo est fermée cette année mais il y a des circuits qu’on peut faire pour retracer les pas de Victor Hugo à Guernesey. Guernsey is easy to get around, Tourist Information office is on the water front and you can get a Town Map from there and then you can do your own walk and stop off where you want to.

Hello ....yes you can book or just turn up at 10.30 am at the Guernsey Information Centre which is a five minute stroll from where your tender drops you off at the Albert Pier.
