We booked a 6 night sailing holiday on the South coast of England. This is my first taste of any kind of sailing and Trinity sailing and the crew of Provident could not have done more to make it a lovely experience! The help offered by Lucy, Ben and the captain, Rob to a novice like myself, was brilliant and if you are looking to try something new and never tried sailing, I can highly recommend the Trinity sailing charity!!! Everything is explained to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip where there were a mix of experienced sailors and total beginners like myself. As I say I’m no sailor but Provident looks stunning and clearly catches everyone’s eye coming into port. The beds (for a boat) are comfortable and all the the necessary equipment can be provided! As for the food, well what can I say, I expected pretty basic food but Lottie our on board chef, produced some of the very best food I have tasted. From breakfast to coffee break to lunch and afternoon tea through to the evening meal was absolutely fabulous!! The cakes for afternoon tea and bread for lunch were made on board and evening meals were all delicious, not a sauce mix in sight, all made from scratch using fresh ingredients! Thank you to all concerned and the other guest for fab trip!!

First time with the Trinity Sailing Organisation and decided to try out the experience of sailing on their boat called the Provident. The original plan was to sail over to Brittany and the Channel Islands but unfortunately this was not possible so we remained in UK waters. Rob, the skipper was very helpful and kept us informed throughout the week of the changing plans (due to the unhelpful weather) ensuring we had the best experience possible of sailing such a wonderful boat. His small crew of Joe, first mate and boson Ida were a delight to work with, taking time to explain everything and always with a smile on their faces. The stand-in ships cook Ben kept us well fed and entertained with his stories of sailing and also his extensive knowledge of sailing ships. As a novice sailor I can say that I had a wonderful time and admire their professionalism and cheerful interaction with us making it a most rewarding experience.

I have just returned from an awesome week sailing with Trinity onboard Leader. Crew were great, chef and cooking amazing and overall we were very well looked after! The boats are well maintained and comfortable, the crew were very knowledgeable and we visited some lovely places! Will definitely be back!

I was invited to join sponsors for a days sailing and it was a manically experience. The food was great and interesting. Great crew.

the crew were professional, helpful, and friendly. Lottie the cook did a fantastic job, cooking for a large number in such a confined space. It was great to hear Martin's sea shanties in his "broad" Scottish accent, an accent which changed at will. The islands were impressive as were the hills around.

Trinity Sailing organises brilliant coastal and offshore sailing adventures with a difference suitable for anyone, even if you have never sailed before. We joined a voyage along the south coast calling in at various ports and anchorages off the beaten track in the 100 year old and very stable sailing vessel "Leader", You could happily go on your own, or with friends and family.The 4 professional crew were on hand 24/7 with sailing tuition if needed, great food and entertainment ideas. We had an awesome time. And you can feel good about indulging yourself as Trinity use these trips to help fund other sailing trips for kids who would not otherwise have so much fun. Dont just think about it.Go for it.
