Excllent Museum - very interesting. Guide was super and very helpful. Small museum but full of interesting exhibits. Well run.

We came upon this by accident. Being railway people I saw the building as we drove into Bovey and recognised it immediately as an old station building. I'm glad we stopped. The people were friendly, and they have a model railway inside their renovated 'Toad' brake van. The museum is also very interesting. Do go, its well worth it!

The staff were really helpful, bringing items out of the archives when we had questions. Interesting displays and relevant material to hand.

Lovely little museum to visit for half an hour on a rainy day. Volunteer staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Our 5 year old loved looking at the railway models and carriage.

Run by volunteers this is a gem of a find. Step back into your childhood (if you are over 60) to a time of steam trains. Things for children to do too. Great place.

Found the heritage centre tucked away behind everything else. Really very interesting. The volunteers were very interesting and helped the kids find stuff with their qiizz questions and answers. Amazing what history we discovered about Bovey Tracey.

I visited the Bovey Tracy Railway Heritage Centre yesterday. Really friendly volunteer on the desk and happy to help and answer questions. The railway line here closed some 60 years ago and the track was removed and a road was put in its place. The railway had been open for about 100 years. There is a train carriage on display too along with lots of railway memorabilia. Free entry. Excellent.

A lovely revitalised railway station with lots of railway memorabilia. Alas no trains run here today but it is well worth a visit.

This place helped us understand more about the town we live near. The guides were really informative and the layout was interesting. Having been on a school trip here before, we wanted to visit again to show the family around and we thoroughly found this place interesting whilst informative.
