A very nice peaceful site on a pretty island with nice views. Some interesting boards with interpretation on it. Worth diverting here if you're driving around Strangford Lough. Won't take more than 30mins though!

Not a whole lot to see but quiet and peaceful in the sunshine. Children would want to leave after a few minutes! A very twisty narrow access road.

Was a Christian monastery, now in ruins.
Some of the ruins have information plaques.
Dog friendly.
Free admission.

Somehow you always end up meeting interesting people at Nendrum, artists, photographers and a wide assortment of locals and tourists. A useful little on site "museum" explains much of the history. mainly it is just a lovely place to visit and soak up all of the peaceful vibes!

Very interesting monastic site with helpful signage. Includes ruined round tower, church and different ruins of outlying rooms.

The road down to the site is hairy to say the least. Once you get there it is worth the trip. We'll sign posted and explained. Great to walk the dogs

A nice place to drive to within a short distance of Comber. There are steps and a short walk around ancient ruins with scenic views surrounding.

One of my favourite places since childhood, no matter where in the world, I look forward to getting back here. Not much to do, certainly not a ‘walk’ but a perfect secret, scared spot to take a blanket and a book.

remains of an ancient site, complete with sundial. There are the remains of the round tower and chapel and visitor information. Very peaceful, its pretty out of the way down some narrow roads, and there aren't usually many other people there.

Travelling from Comber towards Killyleagh take the first left leaving Comber(signed Castle Espie)Continue on that road until you reach Ardmillan. Look for junction with road to left signed Nendrum and Mahee Golf Club.Be careful as this road is quite narrow.

Go onto the A23 at roundabout continue straight onto church hill then turn left onto the moss rd then sligth left onto lisbarnet rd then left onto killinchy rd/A22 1.5 miles turn right onto quarry rd 1.8 miles slight right onto ringneil rd 1.1 miles right onto reagh island continue onto mahee island slight right to stay on mahee island nendrum will be on the right about 230 ft
