Popped in on way past to visit the shop. The Bar man, as he called himself, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Had a bit of banter with him, whilst trying some samples of their ales. Did purchase from them, happy with the product and service. However, we weren't sure we were headed to the right place, as it is up what looks like a farm road, but still worth the visit.

Stopped in whist on way to Inveraray and really glad we did. Had a spot of lunch, venison nachos and bought some beer to take away. Service was excellent, really friendly and welcoming, beer garden is lovely to sit in, very well done, will come back again!!

Popped in to sample and browse. Came away with a little collection of ales and stout. Have since tried the Imperial stout - wow. Absolutely lovely. Yet to try the all the ales, but based on ones so far am not going to be disappointed. Lovely beer garden on site.

This is one of our favourite ever places, a small independent brewery a little way up the Glen from Cairndhu, it has the best beers anywhere, a lovely bar and shop, brewery tours, wonderful walks from the doorstep, a wonderful beer music and food festival (FyneFest) every year. I cannot praise it highly enough.

Thoroughly enjoyable visit. Spent a few house in their tap room sampling the beers and the staff were happy to give us a commentary on all of them.

Brilliant visit to the tap house for some ales, excellent selection and great variety, we had slabs of 5 so lots of different ones to try. The driver in our party also got some great non-alcoholic beers to try. Friendly bar manager made some great suggestions and we had a great chat about the brewery and farm. Left with some beers and can't wait to visit again. Would definitely recommend!

Great beer and a lovely shop with some tables inside and a bigger beer garden area. There was no food available the day we visited which made our visit a lot shorter than it might have been. Friendly staff, sanitiser, masks and clean toilets. Would return if we were in the area and may now buy their beer from elsewhere. We would love them to do some food so we could make an afternoon of it.

Considering I don’t normally drink ale or beer, I managed to happily quaff half a flight of beers with my husband. I liked the friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing pretentious but the ale and craft beers were outstanding. Even the coffee was superb. This is a great place to visit.

Nipped in for a few of the ales. Atmosphere was so friendly and the barman was very passionate about the beer. Plus they greeted our dogs with open arms! I do have to say the beer is superb (origin on tap was sanguine which was different and superb). Walked out sleepy and well quenched. Thanks guys, excellent experience.

We went for a pint and a bite to eat and ended up buying quite a lot beer to take away. If you're a fan of real ale and craft beers, this is the place for you. Next time, hopefully, they'll be running tours again. The beer is simply, excellent.

Don't know if I am too late to answer this, but dogs are very welcome in the brewery tap, but not allowed in production areas so wouldn't be able to come on the tour. Hope to see you here. Jamie

We are staying in Argyll loch eck near whistlefield inn never been to Scotland before can you tell me if there are any nice village type Scottish pubs nearby and any nice villages to explore we are staying for a week any other info on where we should head off too would be great

Hi, we liked Inveraray, a bit of a drive for you howeverbut if the weather is good it's worth it.
Also on that road there's Loch Fyne store and restaurant if you like seafood, other shops there also.
If you like walks look up Pucks Glen, a woodland managed by foresty commission.
I found websites of the Argyll and Bute area and Visit Scotland which gave me ideas.
