We had the most amazing morning in the rain with Suzanne and the girls, The pony’s were amazing and so well behaved. Romi, Dolly Bailey and Jack were fantastic, such a lovely welcome and excellent for nervous beginners. It’s the first time riding after an accident 32 years ago and can’t wait to come back.
Thank you all for a fabulous morning, Amazing to be back in the saddle, couldn’t have picked a better business to choose for an memorable experience 😍 Highly recommended for first time

Booked a ride several months in advance only to arrive the afternoon of our scheduled ride to find the place closed. The owner's father (who lived next door) was very friendly and apologetic, but it doesn't change the fact that we specifically scheduled our timing and itinerary around this ride, only to have the owner blow us off with no notice or explanation or apology. A horseback trek was one of the main things my daughter wanted to do on our trip, so she was extremely disappointed. I would recommend trying to find someplace more professional and dependable.

I have only been made aware of your post so I apologise for not responding sooner. We pride ourselves on customer service and experience and can only apologise, wholeheartedly, that we somehow mixed up our diary on this occasion. I hope that if you ever visit the area again we will do our utmost to have you experience our wonderful pony trekking that we have here.

Just back from a wonderful trek with friends. We were made very welcome and were quickly put at ease by our lovely trek leader Suzanne. We were very lucky with the weather, as we just missed some heavy downpours, and were treated to some spectacular views from the top of the hill at the back of the stables over Loch Lomond itself. Our ponies were very well behaved, unlike other some other places I have visited, and so were a real pleasure to ride. We really must come back in the summer for another ride.

I hadn't been riding for several years , but I couldn't have been more pleased with how reassuring and how careful Liz and Suzanne were to make sure that we all felt safe, in control and that we also also enjoyed our experience.
They purposely have only a small group so that they can watch us all and they also spend a short time watching us first in the manege to make sure we can control our horses.
The horses were lovely with ideal temperaments and chosen for us in advance when we sent in our weight & height.
Then there was the scenery, looking down over loch lomond and riding over moorland, buzzard flying over us - all perfect .
Liz and Suzanne are perfect guides and they also included information about the area we were riding in etc. Would highly recommend this to anyone - complete beginner or otherwise

I will not repeat what everyone said already…it is all very true and beyond! I was looking for some activities to try in the area and found Suzanne ‘s place and her horses. I had a phobia of horses and not a little one either, but I thought I’d try. I am so pleased I did. I was the only really scared one of the group for sure😊 !!. I first regretted my "bravery" in the first minute of the trip (kind of “panic mode on” lol!), I didn’t have a clue how to ride or guide or even how to stay put on a saddle BUT I decided to trust the team and Zack, my adopted horse now. Superb psychologists if I may say so, the team and the horses…they knew but were very calm, good and patients…Zack in particular. I found it very therapeutic. I was able to relax at a later stage of the trip. for me it was about getting rid of my phobia of horses and Zack was so lovely and gentle…Once you are on the trip you feel that these horses are loved and well cared for, you KNOW it is between you, them and nature. I am so glad I listened to every single bit of gentle advised given by Suzanna and Liz. I couldn’t have felt safer and their knowledge is absolutely perfect. Zack and I became pals!! The track was tricky but it didn't seem to bother Zack nor myself actually, I really enjoyed it all. Gorgeous and deep experience as far as I am concerned. I since looked up at riding sessions. My advice to you readers…slow down and take time to embrace the whole experience, do not miss this opportunity as you will find it ever so relaxing (I never thought I’s say that !!) A true healing experience for the mind, body and soul. You may well learn something about yourselves too😊.It is definitely worth every penny and more. Thanks to Suzanne, Liz , the team and to my Zak! Amazing experience, we enjoyed every minute of it. The horses were amazing and trained really well. It was a perfect combination of riding and a guided tour. Wiews were amazing and we learend interesting little facts about the area. Highly recommened anyone to go as we’ll definitely be back!! Thank you for this amazing experience, we couldn’t stop talking about it all day!

We had a fantastic afternoon pony trekking across the moors overlooking Loch Lomond. Suzanne, Liz and the team were wonderful and you could tell how much they cared for their ponies and also ensuring we had a great experience. We are a family of 5 and this was our first experience of pony trekking and they made us feel at ease. Definitely one of our highlights of the holiday and thank you Suzanne.

The team were very welcoming and all appropriate COVID procedures were in place. I have ridden a bit in the past, but my partner hasn’t and he felt completely at ease because of the approach - he enjoyed it far more than he expected too! The views up on the top of the hill were stunning, the horses were friendly and obviously loved/looked after! The friendly banter during our session was also a bonus - the time went too quickly!

A brilliant experience for both of us! Only the 2 of us & 2 supervisors so really personal. Lovely horses to ride, felt very safe but great fun! And we were even blessed with beautiful sunshine making the views gorgeous! Also loved that they took some photos for us which have been lovely to have. Highly recommend!

Hi do you cater for experienced riders ? We would love to go out on safe sensible horses but maybe at a slightly faster pace than walk and trot
