Visited last week, enjoyed the 1 hr cruise weather was dry and sun had came out so we enjoyed seeing the views & the one boat commentary was interesting.

Booked this through get your guide , really enjoyed the trip, commentary good and scenery stunning . It was a freezing day but boat lovely and warm with an option to be outside too. Perfect

Lovely friendly crew, beautiful route and scenery, hot and cold drinks available on board. The commentary was really interesting. Fully recommend.

An excellent experience. The boat was comfortable and lovely and warm on a cold day. Commentry was very informative and entertaining. Good value.

Wonderful two hour cruise of Loch Lomond. Cruising up to Luss and back, very informative and the scenery was spectacular. We had hot chocolate and sat outside on the deck. Would definitely recommend going. We drove from Glasgow, there’s free parking and toilets next to the departure point.

Decent enough 1 hour cruise but did not feel there was loads to see-maybe we were spoilt as had been further north the previous few days and just found it all very stunning in comparison.
All that said, the boat was clean and safe and the staff were all very pleasant.

I booked this as part of a multi-ticket experience with Sea Life Loch Lomond and it turned out to be an incredible trip. As a family, we appreciated the unexpected audio guide about the loch’s history. It was informative without being constant, allowing us to chat amongst ourselves and take in the stunning scenery. The views were breath taking, particularly with the autumnal colours in full display in October. It was more peaceful compared to busier summer months so don't let time of year put you off. The crew were friendly and professional and on hand to serve onboard snacks.

Gorgeous day for this beautiful 60-minute ride on Loch Lomond. We sat at a table in the corner of the bar that included some booth seating which was perfect for young children who could kneel on the cushioned bench and watch the water. Enjoyed tea, the best lemon biscuits and chocolate caramel brownie:)

From November there is a wintertimetable. This means only a limited number of cruises takes place. Do not forget darkness starts early in the afternoon, so rather take the cruises that leave in the late morning.

Can you get on and off the cruise at Luss or would we have to go down to Balloch?

Thank you for your question.
The Balloch- Luss waters service starts at weekend in April and every day May- September. You can boar the boat at Luss @ 1:30pm have a 1 hr cruise to Balloch where you can either disembark or have a 1/2 hour stop and return to luss @ 3.00pm arriving at 4.00pm. The cost of this cruise is £20 return per person.

Thinking about the 1 Hr cruise. Are there toilets on board? Any tips for a quieter ship? Less crowds ? Thinking this Saturday 2 June 2018

Hi there are toilets on board the vessel that we sailed on and I would assume that would be the case with the others. On the day that we sailed the shorter 1 hour cruises were the busiest and more so in the morning. You can check sailing times on their website a quiet cruise would be later in the day I feel.

Is your one hour cruise okay for a person who gets very seasick on boats?

Hello,
The one hour cruise is usually aboard the Astina, our largest vessel and the least effected by waves. The best thing would be to check the weather on the day- windy days make the water choppy but it is very rarely too bad- it really depends on the severity of your seasickness.

Would i be able to take my two dogs on board ? Thier medium sized n well behaved dogs , we vist Balloch in Auhust

I think in the summer it might get full but in April there were about 30 of us on a boat for 180.
The ticket office is about 50 m from the boat. Could check the times of the boats.
but there is a nice walk alongside the loch about 1/4 mile away.
