We are going on a holiday to Botswana soon and will be driving 4x4 vehicles so thought it would be a good idea to have a go before we get there, Ross and his staff were excellent, providing a warm and friendly welcome to the site and first class 4x4 driving experience .
Ross took us out for our drive and gave us both plenty of actual driving time and lots of handy tips for our holiday.
We would highly recommend Action Adventure Activities and hope we have occasion to use their services again in the future.

We had a great quad biking session that was tailored for the whole family. Some were confident and some were really nervous but we all got what we needed. A really relaxed and inviting environment while feeling safe and looked after. Plenty of helpful instructions when needed but lots of time to give our new skills a go. We would definitely recommend using action adventure activities.

My husband and I did quad biking this weekend - absolutely brilliant! Really clear safety instructions (I was quite nervous) and it felt we were up to speed quickly. The instructor was great fun and the experience was fantastic, would highly recommend

We spent a wonderful afternoon doing target sports and quad biking with our instructor Ben who was a very calm and competent presence. It was excellent fun for all of us and felt super safe even for a nervy group like us! There was plenty of time to practice on the quad bikes and Ben gave us lots of encouragement and adjustments to the instructions throughout all the activities that made them more successful and therefore way more fun :) all in all great day out!

We experienced the action target activity, used an air pistol, bow and arrow, crossbow and axe throwing.
My son got this as part of a birthday gift, we both loved it, he’s into vr and gamin so loved trying these things in real life, he’s 9 years old and I am 34 so great for all age ranges.
The staff were very helpful with him in any aspects he struggled with ie loading the gun and holding the crossbow as it was a bit heavy for him.
It lasted around an hour and a half, felt like we got a good amount of time at each activity and not rushed. He loved every minute of it and would love to do it again
It was rather muddy, the instructor apologised for this but it’s to be expected, it’s carried out in a field and at this time of year also, boots would be better footwear, we wore trainers which were fine but did get wet feet. Not sure wellies would work though

We had a great afternoon out doing their target sports.
All the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming.
The facilities were very good.
Mark and Charles were excellent, knowledgeable and encouraging instructors.
We'll hopefully be back soon to try some of their other adventures.

A fun experience with Target Sports which consisted of Air pistols, archery, crossbows and axe throwing There were 10 in total for our session. Given the family/couples split, we were separated into 2 groups…one of 6 and one of 4. My partner and I were in the group of 6 led by Charles (one of the instructors.
On arrival we found the reception area to be clean, cosy and welcoming. The toilet facilities were immaculate too. After checking in we were led the short walk to the target sports area, a small field behind a barn.
The pistol targets were old tin cans we initially set up and there was a smaller more difficult target laid out too. After some 20 or so pellets we were then moved over to the archery and had circa 15-20 mins on that before then moving onto the crossbows and finally the axes.
The axe throwing wasn’t what I was expecting. Any video clips I’ve seen of this activity involves a booth where you and your ‘group’ have sole use and a large target attached to a wall in the booth. Here it was 6 cut sections of a tree trunk all leaning against old tyres to hold them upright. Having said that, it was still an enjoyable experience albeit short (all 4

Went for the Water Activity’s and was not disappointed. Our guide Charles ensured everyone enjoyed themselves in safety. Best part the paddle boards (and the refreshing river when you inevitably fell in) recommended.

We did the target shooting which included air pistols, archery, crossbows and axe throwing. The setup was great and our instructor, George, was excellent. He struck just the right balance of instruction, encouragement and letting us learn on our own. Highly recommended.

We had 3 adults (Gramps, Uncle and Dad) and my 8 year old in our group. We went canyoning and river tubing, and had an awesome time!
We arrived at the reception, got checked in, kitted out and transported to the river. Once there we were given a safety briefing then got on with the fun stuff…we did river tubing and various activities which involved falling/leaping/wading/swimming; all of which were great. My 8yo started off a little hesitant but quickly gathered confidence and was squealing with joy by the end. I don’t normally like cold water but with all the fun we were having (and the wetsuits) I didn’t really notice it or feel cold. This was a great afternoon out for us, with achievements and memories made, and confidence built. Highly recommended.
