Saw the market online so was looking forward to spending an hour or so looking round. Took me 45 minutes to find it, had to ask several people where it was a there are no signs anywhere. Finally parked up and walked round the corner......4 stalls!!? They were very nice and I bought things from 3 of them, some books and lovely handmade items. I was told there were more stalls in the next street.....another 4 stalls by the the shopping mall. These weren't very impressive .It would be so much better if they were all in the one street so it looks like a proper market and more stalls need to be there. Such a shame because it could be a real attraction and would get more people into the shops and cafes as well. Also signposts telling people it is there ! Needs much more marketing, excuse the pun!

Went there on a very rainy day, all praise to the stall holders for their tenacity. We bought quite a few items there including of all things "Curry Paste" Excellent

Just a normal sort of market, really. Usual sort of stuff, underwear, jumpers, toys, DVDs, bits and bobs, not much really for tourists, but it fills in an hour or so. We went on a Tuesday, I think it was, maybe it’s livelier on the Saturdays.

I love to go here, good value and lots to choice from, I all -ways spend all day there and have a cup of tea and a snack after all my shopping.

Always have a look around the market when we go over to Colwyn Bay the stall holders are very nice!!! The market is close to the shops too have some great prices on hardware stall and the blankets and bedding etc, definitely worth a look!!!!

A wide choice of goods avaiable especially as the stalls are kerbside to a busy shopping area so that choice of purchases can be varied between what is available on the stalls and the adjacent stores

A few stalls selling the usual market stuff, not over priced but not cheap either and it comes with a free stench of cigarette smoke! Avoid the little Donut wagon outside the Barnardos Charity Shop as there was a man stood talking to the man in the wagon whilst smoking and leaning in to where the donuts were being made. A bit of a sad sight to see the way Colwyn Bay has become so unattractive, as a kid it was a treat to visit but sadly not any more. There were down and outs and some unsavoury looking characters hanging around. It needs a good sorting out but I doubt it will ever happen.

What are the shops like in Colwyn these days? Thinking of going as will be in N Wales in June but haven’t been there for ages. Is it worth a visit?

It depends on what kind of shops you want. There are a few charity shops, a lot of coffee shops , but not many clothing/accessory shops. There is Bay View Shopping Centre which has the usual, shoe shop, Iceland, couple of charity shops, Superdrug, Poundstretcher, Costa Coffee, Specsavers, Morrisons and a couple of other card shops etc.
