Hi, there isn't a taxi rank at Raven Square Station, but you could book a taxi to meet you there. Our timetable runs pretty smoothly, so you will know what time the train will arrive at Raven Square. To be sure to tell the taxi it is not the main line station though! I don't know of a bus, but there is an excellent TIC in Welshpool, they might know more.

Hi, thanks for asking. Yes, dogs are welcome, but like other passengers they need a ticket at £3, single or return. They are not allowed in the eating area of the tearoom, unfortunately, except for registered assistance dogs (who also don't need a ticket). Doggy bowls provided outside to keep their thirst at bay!

We went with a friend in a wheelchair and they have a lift to get on and off the train. Worth ringing in advance to let them know as they’ll get it ready. :)

Hi, We do allow dogs to travel for a small fee (£3.00, or £2.50 if booked in advance via our website). We regret that dogs are unable to go in the seated area in the tearoom at present, but on most days there is a carriage parked in the station as an overflow area where dogs are welcome - heated during colder months. Thanks for the inquiry. Depending on when you travel, the train you arrive on will pause for between 40 minutes and an hour before returning to Welshpool. But all our tickets are rovers, so you are welcome to stay longer and return on a later train - just check the timetable for options. Either way, you will have time to enjoy our tearoom and have a short or a longer wander around the area. We look forward to your visit!
