Found this place by accident (may need a bigger sandwich board). Had a look and was back the next day with friends. It is a great spot and lucky Kyneton, my home town has nothing like this. It was cold so we sat inside on stools at the large table but there is a lovely outside area as well. Enjoyed some lovely wine and ordered the platter style food. All was very nice as was the young lady looking after us. Cannot wait to visit on a nicer day weather wise. A must do and something a bit different.

This is a must visit in Kyneton with a lovely garden area to sit in along with an inside option. Wine tastings are available along with a nice selection of charcuterie and snacks, and friendly service. A lovely way to spend an afternoon.

Fantastic wine, hidden away off the main Street with very professional service too. Must visit in Kyneton ! Great place for summer.

We were a group of 10 for lunch (2 course for $30), great food, even better wine made right there from locally grown grapes. If you want genuine, amazing quality wine, if you want to see where and how, if you want talk to the people who make it, if you want a genuine experience, go to ML.
The old shed where the bar is in an old timber yard in the middle of town, hidden down a laneway, the garden is lovely.

We went tonight to the recently reopened ML for the adult only dinner option 6pm to 8. It was great to see Brendan and his new front of house guy, Michael. The caravan was pumping out the food and it has to be the best 3 course meal in Kyneton for $30. The wine was good, conversation was good and the food was great. Can’t wait to return.

Just go! Walked down the lane to find this amazing gem of a place today. Friendly owners who are passionate about wine. Great fit out, cool area, excellent snacks. A terrific place to while away an afternoon. I’ll be going back there soon.

A little hidden treasure in Kyneton is this amazing little winery lead by Brendan Lane. A laid back hipster vibe with country humility awaits here. Wines are amazing created lovingly from unique grape varieties. Food is available on site for a little caravan grazing board is a must! Can’t wait to come back here and settle in for a Sunday session.

This place is so good that I’m going to regret sharing with!! Fantastic feel, music that’s just great and such friendly owners and staff. Seating inside and out. Yesterday we just ordered a bottle but next week we’ll do the wine tasting. Take the dogs!!

We tried 5 wines during our visit: a Nero bianco (white wine made from Nero d’Avola grapes), a nebbiolo, a mataro, and 2 shiraz. All were very good; my favourite was the second shiraz Earthside, from near Bendigo. My husband enjoyed the Mataro the most, and one other of our group rated the Nero Bianco her favourite. The winemaker Brendan Lane was very generous with his time and knowledge, and showed us around his cellar and winemaking shed as well as sharing stories of the how and why of his wines. The bar offers a curated selection of beers and wines in addition to wines from Musk Lane. I would definitely recommend people visiting and tasting these wines if you’re in Kyneton on a weekend. We’ve all signed up to the newsletter as the 2019 vintage is looking awesome.

I dropped my watch in at the jewellers and went for a walk. “What’s down this lane?” I wondered.
Two hours later I was still there chatting with the Proprietor and wine maker Brendan Lane who had only recently opened his new funky family friendly indoor/outdoor wine bar/cellar door; Musk Lane Wine. His infectious enthusiasm for his wines was well and truly backed up with wonderful hearty Syrah’s, Nebula (Nebula? Yes Nebula) and a Fiano like I’ve never had, just WOW. He showed me around his barrels and it was quite the adventure, I even got to spin some vinyls Lol
