This church was designed by a local architect, William Douglas. It is a blue stone church, the building was completed in 1860, however it started in 1856.
This church is one of Victorias oldest substantial churches, one of the very earliest with the tower. It is a very large church for a small town.
What I found striking about this church is its location on top of a hill. It appears regally placed in town. With a bit of research I was able to find that this was the highest place in town. I believe if you like architecture, then this is the place for you to go and see.
